Story
Hi, I'm Figi! I am a super sweet pup! I love to cuddle and follow my humans around and I really like toys, I'm trying to learn to be gentle with my toys but sometimes I like showing a tennis ball who's boss! I'm learning to ask permission before invading my humans space but hey, I'm still a puppy! I get along with other dogs and kids (I like running around with them outside) and am a bit bossy with my doggie friends so a patient housemate would be great. I'm doing really well on potty training and crate training too, but the kennel isn't my favorite space yet. I'm a high energy, shy gal who's looking for a snuggle buddy who also loves to play! Story
Location: Arlington, MN Hi, my name is Shadow. I am a very smart girl who likes every person I meet. I'm good around all ages of kids, but really don't play with them unless they initiate play with me by throwing my ball...and do I love to play ball! I would love a back yard of my own where I can fetch a ball or just relax. I love being outdoors! When I am indoors I love to hang out with my family and enjoy snuggling. I don't need a kennel because I am very independent and I will let you know when I need to go outside for a bathroom break. I enjoy taking walks in a quiet neighborhood, especially close to nature. Did I tell you that I love to play ball? I currently live with my foster mom & dad, two super mellow dog brothers and two cat sisters. I love running after my little cat sister and playing. I can relax with cats, but if they run, I think they want me to play with them. I do need slow introductions to other dogs, and if they are mellow, we will get along just fine. I don't like to be in new places where there are a lot of new dogs. I prefer the quiet life at home with my family, but do love car rides and meeting new people. I already know how to sit, stay, speak and would love to learn more if you are willing to teach me. ------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Paul, MN Hi, I'm Wishbone- and I'm a kisser. I'll tell you that right now. I really like showing my appreciation and love with little licks- but when I'm told "no- I do stop. This is just how my mom taught me to show people I love them. I'm potty trained but get anxious when left alone. we are working on that. At the moment the vet has me take trazadone to keep me chill before going on the kennel but I'd be much happier with someone who can spend most of their time with me. I'm really not high maintenance I just don't want my human to leave because I worry you won't come back. It's happened to me before plus I have to keep you safe so you should probably bring me with. I was left alone in the wild for a bit so I'm pretty shy around people. It took me a couple weeks to warm up to my foster but now we are best friends and I trust her with my life. She takes me for walks with the other two big puppies. My foster ma is in a wheelchair so it's almost like we are sled dogs! Four months ago when I first got to move into a house I was licking my feet a lot. They were worried I had allergies so I have meds- but I haven't licked my paws in a few weeks. I think it was just stress. I also have some meds because my tummy got upset during car rides. I found out that it's normal for puppies so I'm less embarrassed- but the last few car rides I made it with no meds, I didn't throw up! My tummy is getting tougher :) I will need a home that's patient and loving. I'm only a year old and everything's a bit new and scary because I had to survive on my own in the wild. Having people take care of me is a whole new experience! I may be scared of you at first but if you give me some time and space I promise we'll be inseparable. The professionals say it takes three months for a pup to acclimate completely to a new home- but I took much less than that with my foster mom Sam! My foster mom and I sleep forehead to forehead some nights. I think it helps keep her bad dreams away. Taking care of her makes me feel good because she takes care of me! I'll take care of you too, if you let me. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and for choosing to rescue! There's millions of us that need homes so it means a whole lot, thank you

We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me?
