This sweet girl is Andie! We best guess her to maybe be a little Heeler mix, 30lbs and approx. 10 months old. She is a gorgeous dog and her ears are the best! She came to us after being dumped at a campsite, found abandoned, scared, skinny and full of ticks. She is now in a foster home being spoiled rotten. Foster mom is finding out fast poor Andie may not have been treated good the first part of her life. She is unsure of new things and being inside a home. She is finally starting to walk around the house a little more, a new room each day, but she does have a safe spot she likes to stay. Each day we are seeing her shine more and more! Even after everything she LOVES everyone she meets and craves attention. Due to her not being confident we will require her go to a home with another social dog to show her the ropes. She loves her dog friends. Of course because of her past she has some basic manners to learn but wow is she smart! She is already housetrained, crate trained, she loves to be outside playing and running around the yard with the zoomies lol and loves toys. We always tell people that adopting a scared dog is one of the most rewarding experiences ever, to see them come out of their shell is like nothing else. We did Brownie's DNA! He's about half cattle dog and the next biggest result was Boxer but he is mixed with many other breeds. Brownie is a sweet, energetic and spunky guy who had a rough start in life. He loves affection and is a good boy. He was found as a stray in Bonne Terre and got picked up by animal control, which is just a shed. We believe Brownie would do best in a more quiet home with older or no kids and an active owner that would spoil him and give him the life he deserves. Brownie will need a fence as he has a high prey drive and loves to chase the yard critters. If there are other dogs in the home they should be about his size or bigger. He loves to play with the other dogs. He has been introduced to the dog savvy catin the house and they get along okay.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
