Story
Brownie is a sweet, energetic and spunky guy who had a rough start in life. He was found as a stray in Bonne Terre and got picked up by animal control, which is just a shed. In his foster home, he lived with other dogs and kids. We believe he would do best in a quiet home with older or no kids and an active owner that would spoil him and give him the life he deserves. If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email contact@stlpetrescue.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kendra! She is a Heeler/Lab mix. She is such a snuggler and has so much love to give the right home. She’s crate and potty trained. She can sit and give you her paw when asked. She likes most dogs but can play kind of rough so she needs a playmate close to her size or no playmate at all. She likes being on a schedule and needs a low key kind of family. Too much activity can cause her to forget her manners and basic puppy training. She is great in her crate, and is very treat motivated. She’s in a foster home right now where her foster Mom works from home and she’s been awesome! She’s content to just sit and play with her bones on her dog bed in the office with her, wandering over occasionally for some snuggle time. We are currently working on her leash training now that the weather is permitting it. If you have any questions about our girl Kendra, please message the rescue and her foster mom will reach out to you and tell you more about her. ~~For information on our adoption process and/or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website www.campchaospuppyrescue.org~~ Please Like our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/campchaospuppyrescue Watch our Facebook page and/or our website for locations and event details.  Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs/puppies. We only adopt to MO or IL residents. We do not ship or transport our dogs to other parts of the country.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2023, 1:38 pm

Story
In search of a serial kisser, the best kind of serial out there, right? Well then I, Mandy, am the dog for you! I'm a mix of awesomeness and 5 years old. I can be laid back and chill or a bouncing ball of joy! I love walks and jogs, with you of course. I also love playing with other dogs. I love it so much, I prefer playing with other dogs over playing with toys. Something else I love, sunbathing! Does your couch have the perfect spot to lay and catch rays? Well then I should absolutely be laying there. I really enjoy laying around, like under tables. Dinner time? I'm under that table. Working at your desk? I'm laying under that too. You laying in bed? Guess what. I'm there too. I'm all about my people and if you adopt me then I'll be all about you! Mandy is good with other dogs and kids (works best with submissive/non-dominant dogs). She is crate trained and potty trained with a doggy door. She knows the commands to go to her crate and to sit. She eats her meals in her crate and will routinely relax in it during the day. She loves food and will steal any if you're not watching. She will do best in a yard that has a secured bottom. ***Mandy has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which basically means, my pancreas has not been producing the yummy enzymes I need to adequately digest my food. Because my rescuers were SO astute and proactive, they figured it out (with help of the vet, of course). I will require a certain diet and supplement, highly digestible and low fat foods along with a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement. Basically, every meal I get an appetizer and entree. Easy pleasy. EPI does not necessarily require "prescription" food, and Mandy has drastically improved since the Pancreatic Enzymes added to her diet*** She will need enzymes for life, however, you will get serial kisses day in and day out too.... a great trade off :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac also enjoys being the only dog. He would prefer a home where he is the center of attention and can soak up all the puppy love from his people. He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait! Story
Button and his five siblings were rescued by Animal Control because the original owners were going to euthanize these sweet babies. Unfortunately, the AC was not staffed at all on the weekends, therefore, a reputable rescue was needed ASAP or this litter was going to have to fend for themselves for 48-hour periods. Luckily, Country Acres Rescue was able to step up and transfer these fabulous five to our facility - they are healthy, fun, loving and in need of an amazing home to call their own! Button has such a cool brindle coat, Button is as 'cute as a button'! He loves to play and any attention he can get! He's a ham. Please call Country Acres Rescue at 636-227-1919 to inquire on how to adopt Button!
