Story
Hello!  My name is Brad Pitt, namesake to the superstar, and I am just as handsome!  Seems like I am part cattle dog, with my coat being a soft reddish brown with white spotted legs.  Born on or around May 21, I'm a male pup and about ten pounds at this age, expecting to be a mid-sized dog when I grow up.  However I am strong, curious and full of energy and wiggles...just paw-sitively charming and handsome while spreading happiness with every wag and woof!!!  And I can cuddle with the best of them!  I love everyone I meet and eagerly await their attention!   Being a pup, I am still learning the ropes from my big brother-foster dog.  I go outside with him and my littermate, but I'll need patience and understanding while learning about being housebroken.     I am unconditionally cute and waiting to make family memories that will last a lifetime!  I am not just a dog, I'm really handsome arm candy!  Ready to melt hearts!   I'll be ready to join my new family after August 9, 2024   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
Hi! My name is Rutabaga and I am probably the sweetest puppy on the planet. I’ve got those naturally pouty puppy-dog eyes that make it hard to say no, and my little white-tipped tail is just the cutest wagger ever. I also give the gentlest little hello kisses & will lightly place my paws on you to let you know I want some love. At only 5 weeks old I was already barking to let my foster mom know if I needed to potty in the middle of the night, or if the water bowl was dry! I’ve also gotten pretty good at telling time, so I know when to expect meals & who to talk to if they’re late. I’m a smart cookie & a quick learner—I bet you could teach me so many tricks! I love soft toys and chews with lots of texture, and I’m a fan of a cozy little spot to hide while I plot my next move during a game a of keep-away. Nesting in blankets fresh from the dryer is also the best way to start a nap, don’t you think?   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Hello, hello! It’s me, Artichoke: the most squishable butterball you’ve ever met. Don’t let my physique fool you—when I get the zoomies, you might as well call me The Blur because, man, can I move! I’m just a big (but still totally little) softy who loves cuddles & kisses & all of the back scratches. And my brindle coat is super soft & pretty unique: my entire right side of my body is lighter than my left! I’m a handsome hunk o’ puppy, for sure. I enjoy romping around with my brother and sisters and can be a bit of a bulldozer, but it’s all in good fun! Chew toys & stuffies are my favorite playthings for the most part, but you’ve gotta watch me at the water dish: I can’t resist a good paw spa every now and again, and I have been known to run off with the bowl, half-filled and splashing all the way! Maybe this means I’ll be a good splash pad buddy in the summer? Only one way to find out! I dance for dinner & will sleep in my empty food dish if you let me…sometimes, I even doze off with my head in the *not empty* water bowl. It’s a refreshing way to snooze, I suppose. And when I wake up & need to potty, I already alert my foster mom to avoid making a mess in my bed! I’ve pretty well mastered using the puppy pad when I need to, and I think the transition to going outside will be a breeze with a consistent schedule!   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Hi, I’m Aubergine! I may be the littlest lady of the litter, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit! In fact, I tend to be the instigator behind the majority of our playful puppy brawls. I just love a good game of “catch me if you can!” I’m fast, too—my bouts of “the zoomies” are next level & incredibly entertaining, or so I’m told. I can be timid in brand new situations, especially if I’m solo. But with confident leadership (or another canine friend), forget about it! I’ll be the most playful investigator you’ve ever met. I love romping around with my littermates, pouncing on unsuspecting toys, and sniffing out the next great adventure. Like my siblings, I’m already getting the hang of letting people know when I need a potty break. My foster mom is confident that a good routine will have me wholly house-trained in no time! Have I mentioned how cute I am? You should be prepared to be smothered in cuteness: my favorite greetings are full of happy hops and hello kisses!   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Hello, there! I’m Rhubarb…but you can just call me yours ;) I bring joy and drama and giggles galore to every room I enter—if you’re looking for the pup of the party, surprise! I’m right here. My foster mom says I’m made of sugar & spice & everything nice…with an extra dash of spice, but trust me: you’ll be too entertained by my antics to hold it against me. What can I say? I may be a little lady, but I ’ ve got a big personality! Sometimes I even say “no” with the cutest little howl, but as sassy as I may be, I will still totally melt into the most perfect puppy puddle the moment I’m in your arms. And you’ve never seen a puppy whip their tail back and forth like me: when I’m at my happiest, it taps me on both sides with each wag! I am curious and always exploring the world around me with my two best senses: taste and smell. A variety of chews & some soft toys for playing tug-of-war and keep-away are my favorite things right now! I have already started working on potty-training & have gotten pretty good about letting my foster mom know when I need to go, but a consistent schedule is still really helpful for me while I’m learning.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
