The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. Olly was pound-bound so we took him in to keep him safe! He is sweet, affectionate, house-trained, smart, and active! He loves running, chasing balls, other dogs, and snuggling. He is 8 months old, UTD on vaccines, not yet neutered (will do before rehoming), and knows a few commands. He loves the dog park, bully sticks, and sleeping with us at the foot of our bed. We did a DNA test and he is mostly Aus Cattle Dog and Labrador Retriever so he needs lots of exercise! He likes to swim and go trail walking too. He is a playful, wonderful loving dog. He is very strong and jumps at times so he could benefit from more training. Because of his strength, a home without small children would be best. He will come with his toys, harness, leashes, and bed. We love him and want the perfect active family for him with a fenced yard so he can run! Meet Cindy - Available for Adoption North Carolina Looking for a dog who wants to be your side kick? Being close to you will always make her happy. She is smart and loving. She could easily be a therapy dog. She would happy as an only dog or not. She does well with other dogs. Not sure about cats. Her person is her favorite part of her world. If you're retired or work from home and need a friend then Cindy is your dog. Whether you live alone or as a family, with or without kids, she'll fit in perfectly. She has the best personality and is happy just sitting w you on the couch or playing on the floor. She can jumper high so could easily scale a 6 ft chain link fence. A wooden fenced in yard would be best for her. She would be happy taking walks on her leash. The only reason she would scale a fence is to try to go with you. Summer is just around the corner and Cindy LOVES playing w the hose as you squirt water. Absolutely LOVES it! She is crate and house trained and spayed. She's current on her immunizations and microchipped. She weighs around 40 lbs and is a lab/cattle dog mix on the smaller size. She's received several training and is ready for her forever home. Cali is a female Miniature Australian Shepherd and is about 8 years old. She's completely updated on shots and vaccinations and is regularly groomed (Lazy 5 is her vet). She knows sit, speak, lay down, and shake. She's good with all adults and children; usually she's good with other dogs but will let males know she's not open for business with a growl. She has been exhibiting anxious behavior and separation anxiety, and because we both work long hours and don't have a fenced in yard for her to expel her energy, we've made the difficult choice to re-home her with someone that can give her the attention she deserves. She will need a home with a fenced in yard, and possibly another brother or sister.
