Story
Meet Nora! Nora is a petite and sweet 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix that weighs about 30lbs.. She loves her foster siblings (3 dogs and a cat).  Nora is interested in the cat, but she is not aggressive and backs away when told. Nora is fully housebroken and sleeps on a dog bed at night.  A secure fenced yard would be a plus as she loves to be outside and run and play with other dogs.  She really likes to be with her person and would love to snuggle on the couch at the end of the day.  Nora can be a little shy at first, but she is a wonderful, sweet girl and has come a long way in a short time. Nora's ideal home would be with a woman, as she can be a bit skittish around men. If you are a patient, caring woman, looking for a loyal companion, Nora hopes you apply, because she can't wait to meet you!    Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2266161##

Story
This sweet girl, Lucy, is a Cattle Dog rescued by Piedmont Animal Rescue from Western NC, and her journey is nothing short of inspiring! When she first came into foster care, she was completely shut down and terrified of the world around her. But with love, patience, and the companionship of her foster brothers and sisters, she’s blossoming in ways we couldn’t have imagined thanks to our partners at Elevation K9 Training. Her Amazing Progress: • She plays and seeks out engagement from people she once feared. • She’s building confidence with every new field trip and exposure to the world. • Lucy has learned “heel”, and will trust your guidance while she’s there. • She will go new places with you and hang out on her “place” where she feels safe.  This beautiful girl still has some learning and growing to do, but her progress shows she’s on the path to becoming a wonderful, loyal companion. She’s looking for a forever family that can continue helping her discover how amazing life can be. Could you be the one to show her the love and stability she deserves? Lucy is dog friendly, and would thrive with siblings! She is cat neutral, and has shown indifference to her cat sibling. Lucy LOVES the water, and will swim as long as you let her. She is a great hiking companion, and doesn’t mind running short distances with you either. This girl loves to go places. She is nervous in a new environment, but does better with each new exposure to it. She loves to hang out at Coffee republic on “place” and thoroughly enjoys a good pup cup. She would love to be your best loyal companion! Lucy's adoption fee includes a MANDATORY series of training to ensure ongoing success for her and her new humans.  ($1,000 value) Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. She is a loving pup who does well with other dogs. Story
Hello, my name is Sirocco, Siro for short [I do know my name now]. I think I’m a heeler/GSD mix. I was found in the New Mexico desert in December. I’m a goofy, playful dude who loves to run around. They have been working on making me a running partner to help alleviate some of my energy. I’m young, probably about 1 or 2 years old. Hobbies include: hanging out with other dogs, sticking my head out the window, and giving kisses. I would do best if I had a large FENCED yard and lots of toys to occupy my time. I am neutered and up to date on Rabies.

Story
Samson is an extremely loving dog but has recently developed some aggression issues with our other healer. We have tried a number of things but it seems that after 5 years together, something has happened with their relationship. Samson has no bite history and would make an excellent dog in an only pet home - with the right person that has the time to give him the attention that he deserves. He is a leaner, a lover, and just wants attention! In addition, we will be relocating our farm in the next several months and will be in temporary housing with will not be conducive for success with our dogs. Please, serious inquiries only and Samson looks forward to meeting you!

Story
Alfie is just the sweetest boy who is only 10 months old, weighs 48 pounds and has overcome so much in his young life.  This boy has overcome such a deep shyness with meeting new people and his foster mom has helped him learn confidence and the acceptance of affection from people.   He is a kind and sweet dog that is a medium energy, a kind spirit and good with other creatures in his life.  He is good with cats, dogs and just needs a slow introduction with new people. He loves his walks on the leash in the neighborhood and they have helped him build such a confidence that he never had when he first came to Critter Cavalry Rescue.  He is a Blue Heeler mix and we think he is oh so handsome.  Alfie is going to be a special rescue dog for someone.  Someone with patience and the desire to see a dog blossom every day in to a radiant soul that will make you the center of his universe and love.  If you would like to consider this boy please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 9:39 pm
