Story
Hi, I’m Diesel! I’m a gentle sweetheart with the softest heart and the cutest habit, if you sit down near me, I’ll happily roll right over and offer my belly for rubs. It’s my favorite way to say “I trust you.” I love people and thrive on affection. I can be a little shy when meeting other dogs at first, but I warm up with patience and reassurance and do well once I’m comfortable. I did great spending time with Axel another shelter pup and continue to build confidence every day. I’m looking for a loving home where I can feel safe, cherished, and included as part of the family. If you’re searching for a calm, affectionate companion who will soak up every bit of love you give, I might just be your perfect match. If I can find a committed adopter or foster, I can be transported to Petco in Huntersville, NC on January 15th, 2026. Interested in meeting me or learning more? Please reach out to my team at NCTeam@austinpetsalive.org or call (704) 266-3647.

Story
Hi, I’m Hailey! I’m a 5-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a smart mind and a loyal heart. I love staying active and enjoy walks, exploring, and learning new things—using my brain is one of my favorite activities! After I’ve had some exercise, I’m happy to relax and hang out with my people. I bond closely with those I trust and do best with someone who appreciates my intelligence and gives me both mental and physical enrichment. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s ready to be your partner in adventure and downtime alike, I might be your girl! 🐶💙 I am currently in a foster home and still very much available! If you are interested in meeting me, email ncteam@austinpetsalive.org or call (704) 266-3647.

Story
Hey there, I’m Candy Corn! I’m a happy, outgoing guy with a big heart and an even bigger smile! I’ve quickly become a shelter favorite, probably because I love everyone I meet. I enjoy playtime with my toys, going for walks (I’ve got great leash manners!), and hanging out with other dogs. I’m the perfect mix of playful and polite, and I can’t wait to bring joy to my new family. If someone decides to foster or adopt me, I’ll be heading to Huntersville, NC (10017 Biddick Lane, Huntersville NC 28078) on December 18th, 2025. Maybe that’s where we’ll meet! If you are interested in me please email NCteam@austinpetsalive.org or call 704-266-3647.
