He is about 18 months old now and I don't understand why he hasn't been adopted. He is adorable, he only weighs about 40 lbs, he is great with other dogs, people, and cats. Perfect little dude. He loves to run and play and splish splash in the water. He would make a great companion for an active individual or a family that enjoys outdoor adventures or spending lots of time in the backyard. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Meet Louie -- medium in size but big in sparkle. He is a black and white beauty that does well with other dogs but he is not a fan of cats. Louie has perky ears, a striking speckled neck ruff and possesses a calm energy. Louie might take a bit of time to get to know his new family but once that happens, he will show you how wonderful he really is. He is one of those dogs who is equally up for exploring the trail and snuggling on the couch. He will bring his affectionate and grounded energy to whatever is on the agenda -- he just needs a bit of time to get to know his new family.
