Story
Ace and Ivy are nearly 3 year old littermates. They are mostly blue heeler, beagle with a small percentage of minpin, boxer and golden retriever in there. Ivy is black and tan and about 28lbs. Ace is 50 shades of gray and about 25lbs. Ivy is such a sweet girl. She is so intelligent and quick to learn. She loves to play games, fetch and work searching for treats. She is highly food motivated. She does fantastic with commands such as place, sit, stay, down and crate with a release word of free. She still needs work on a leash as she gets easily distracted with a high prey drive for birds, squirrels, rabbits etc. She does however love our cat and plays with him gently. She is confident and submissive with other dogs and has never shown any type of aggression whatsoever. She loves kids and is fine with strangers but she is still very excitable and needs continued work jumping to greet people. She needs a fenced in yard to run and burn off her energy. I always say she would make an incredible agility dog! She loves to cuddle. She loves to chew extra strong chew toys, bones antlers, etc. She’s very sweet and never makes a peep unless she’s looking for Ace.Ace is also high energy lover and will rub his whole face into you any chance he gets. He lives to be pet and snuggled. He is also trained with basic commands such as place, sit, stay, and crate. He loves to chase balls and play with high action toys. His athletic ability is also top notch. Ace is great with children and friendly with our cat. He is high strung and anxious and definetly the vocal one of the two. Ace alerts to visitors and Ivy does not. He could use an older dog to teach him manners and confidence. He is a bit apprehensive when approached by new people and hears loud noises. He’s been very insecure since he was a puppy and we’ve made significant progress but my wish is for him to finally feel comfortable secure and calm without feeling the need to be reactive in situations that he shouldn’t. A fenced yard and lots of exercise is necessary for him. He definitely wants to be a good boy, he’s just insecure. Thunder makes him nervous and he does well either with me or in a covered crate. He does have a tendency to resource guard with his sister but also does not like to be separated from her. For this reason they’re fed separately in their crates.Their crates are side by side and they are happiest that way. They eat twice a day in their crates. They both go for a quick walk potty break in the morning and then return to their crates for breakfast.  They do wonderfully when I am home but they are crated if I have to leave the house. They love their crates and will lay down and nap. They roam free on the main floor during the day while I am home. We always have a big afternoon or evening playtime to burn off some of that energy and then relax on the couch before and after dinner. They both are potty trained and rarely have accidents in the house and never in their crates. After their last potty break they go to their crates to sleep overnight. They are sweet dogs who want to be great. It breaks my heart that I couldn’t give them the life they deserve.   KLN 16814  We are a 501c3 % volunteer based rescue and rely solely on donations. Story
Hello my name is Ivy I'm a 4 month old mix breed. I like other dogs and live with two toddlers. We think I would do better in a home with older kids and a fenced yard. I have lots of energy, I am crate trained working on potty training. I know sit paw and stop! Learning drop it. ##2015540##

Story
Heartworm Prevention: 18th every month Flea and Tick: 18th of every monthy Flora was a stray and no one claimed her. She's aloof with new people and selective with who she likes. She likes women the best. Needs a patient understanding adopter who will help her gain confidence and will have ability to love her even if she always has some quirks. She is very fearful of sudden movements and loud noises. Bite History 06/14/2022-Tammy Sell- volunteer 08/29/2022- Customer PA 1137

Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
