So if you look LONG enough into my HAZEL eyes, you will definitely see my soul :0 Or what. had for lunch.... either way, good stuff! I am a pup, as you can see.... I am lanky, I am gorgeous, I am smart and I LOVE TO PLAY!! I ended up at the rescue, and that is such a blessing for me!! AND FOR YOU :) If you get to adopt me! I have a sweet and very playful personality, I love to run and am born for it! I am also born to learn all kinds of things, too. Use my brain, train me and I will become your best friend and the best adventure buddy! I am a great portable size, you don't have to drag a big 90# pup around, I am about 1/3 that size and can get in and out of the car without you carrying me! I love other dogs and would be great in a home that is active and at least one other happy dog to grow with! Adopt me soon, this beauty will find a family quickly!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Toby is a happy, high-energy boy who’s always ready to be part of the action! He loves being around people and thrives on companionship—whether you’re tackling chores around the house or relaxing on the couch, Toby will be right there by your side. Total velcro pup status! He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playtime, especially running around and showing off his zoomies. Toby will happily chase a ball (the return trip is still a work in progress 😄), and he brings a fun, playful energy wherever he goes. He can get a little excited when meeting younger kids at first, but he settles down quickly once he gets his wiggles out. Toby does best with a routine and has already learned some great basics like “sit” and “come.” He’s both crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy addition to a home ready for an active, loving companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup who just wants to be by your side through it all, Toby is your guy! Story
Odin came to us having had both of his eyes just removed at the shelter as they were both in extremely rough shape with several issues. He was a stray that came in with another dog but his buddy did have to be humanely let go at the shelter d/t having a tumor. Odin seems ok with other dogs but with having completely lost his eyes he does need to be around them for a bit before he is ok with them and gets used to them. He does seem to prefer female dogs so far vs male dogs-though the male dog we have had him near was in tact and just recently neutered so that may effect that energy. But Odin LOVES people and such a sweet love to humans! Odin has adjusted GREAT to life without his eyes, much better than a human would, and gets around amazingly! He likes to be outside but truly he likes to be where he knows and can sense you are near. He comes to his name and you can guide him along verbally and his hearing seems to be intact. He does need to lose some weight so we are hoping the more active he is now that his sutures have come out and he has been cleared to be active that that will help! He does also seem to be mostly potty trained now that he has gotten used to the routine and walks well on a leash and is easy to redirect and walk along! He can be vocal when you leave him and we did have him on Trazodone when he first came to us with lots of crying and pacing happening, but again now that he has learned the routine that seems to be diminishing and we have since taken him off Trazodone though he may need it to get used to a new home. He also may not like being behind barriers as an Australian Shepherd so that could also not be helping! But he does seem to have some separation anxiety that we feel like is getting better. Because he can be vocal we dont think he would be appropriate in an apartment setting.  June 17, 2026, 4:39 pm

Story
Woodrow "Woody" is such a sweet guy and he came to us Heartworm positive and had an injury on his back leg that required a modified TPLO surgery and he has since been through both the HW treatment and the surgery. we have since discovered that he does have a Patella that is trying to Luxate but we will be trying a physical therapy intervention vs a second surgery in hopes that building the muscles back up will help us avoid that! He is coming soon as we determine his next path with that-June 17, 2026, 4:39 pm
