Story
Dodge is a toung, strikingly handsome Blue Heeler/Lab mix with a bright spirit to match his good looks. About one year old and weighing 43 pounds, this mostly black shiny boy has a beautiful gray-speckled chest that gives him a regal, eye-catching look. With longer legs and a slimmer build than a typical Heeler, he carries himself with confidence and athletic grace. Whatever breeds make up his DNA, one thing is certain — Dodge is sweet, playful, and incredibly smart. Dodge’s story began in the countryside, where he arrived at a rental home alongside a female Heeler mix and their six puppies. When the family couldn’t keep dogs, a cattle dog rescue stepped in to save the puppies, the mama was rehomed, and Dodge found his way to Critter Cavalry Rescue so he could be fully vetted and matched with the perfect home. Still very much a puppy at heart, Dodge brings goofy charm, happy energy, and a love of life wherever he goes. A fenced yard and an active household will help him burn off his enthusiasm and enjoy the adventures he craves. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes, is respectful of cats, and would likely be a hit with kids who can keep up with his playful nature. Dodge is learning leash skills quickly and would make an excellent walking partner. He’s eager to learn, quick to please, and happiest when he’s close to his people, watching over them and soaking up attention. With continued training, Dodge is going to be an incredible lifelong companion. If you’re ready for a fun, smart, and loyal sidekick, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us your city and state. Transport is available from Tennessee to the northeastern states. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.January 13, 2026, 7:42 pm

Story
Mrs. Colley Ray is an absolute treasure — an 8-year-old Border Collie with a joyful spirit, a gentle soul, and a lifetime of love still ahead of her. She spent her early years adored by an elderly couple who treated her like family, complete with car rides, shared meals, and the occasional McDonald’s burger just because it made her happy. When her owners could no longer care for her, Mrs. Colley Ray gracefully stepped into a new life. She now lives in an active foster home with children, dogs, adults, and small livestock, and she fits right in like she’s always been there. She is calm, friendly, and deeply affectionate — especially when there’s a cozy couch and someone willing to share it. Currently weighing around 80 pounds and losing steadily, Mrs. Colley Ray is eager for a home that will help her continue her wellness journey. She loves retrieving balls, enjoys nice long walks, and thrives with positive routines that keep her active and engaged. Her goal weight is 50 pounds, and she’s already proving she’s committed to getting there. She is fully house trained, crate trained, and a wonderfully well-mannered family dog. Mrs. Colley Ray is happy, confident, and ready for the next chapter — one filled with movement, laughter, and love done the healthy way. We promised her previous owners that she would find a home worthy of her devotion, and we believe that home is out there. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will enrich your life every single day, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Mrs. Colley Ray is truly unforgettable.            ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.January 12, 2026, 6:51 pm

Story
Meet Miss Kitty – A Heart Ready to Bloom  Miss Kitty’s story is one of transformation, hope, and quiet bravery. This stunning 2-year-old Aussie mix (around 70 lbs) was once part of a large group of neglected dogs—left without love, attention, or hugs daily.  The days of indifference from humans are long behind her. With the help of a kind foster home, Miss Kitty has discovered the beauty of human kindness, human touch and now she’s ready to find a forever family of her own.  In just two months, she’s blossomed from a shy, uncertain girl into a dog who seeks out affection and enjoys the company of people—especially children, who she now happily follows with her tail wagging. She’s gentle with dogs of all sizes and loves running and playing with her friends in open spaces. Cats are still a mystery to her, but she’s learned to coexist respectfully.Miss Kitty is still gaining confidence with new experiences—like walking on a leash and spending time indoors—but her courage grows every day. She’s curious, sweet, and has a heart that’s learning to trust completely. With a little patience and a lot of love, this beautiful girl will reward her forever family with endless devotion and loyalty. If you’re looking to make a difference in a dog’s life and watch a soul truly bloom, Miss Kitty is waiting for you.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Miss Kitty today!   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
