Story
Our pretty little Lab/Shepherd mix girl named Faith, is small but mighty at 16 pounds and 4 months old.   This girl is a memorable character that is feisty and full of personality! This girl is the definition of DIVA and Faith appreciates a home with many soft beds, more toys than she will ever play with, and all of the cutest outfits. She loves toys and is always in a playful mood!  You can see it in her eyes that Faith is a high energy dog that gets bored easily and needs stimulation type toys and a regular exercise schedule. She is crate trained and needs to continue this for potty training reinforcement. Faith is currently living with dogs, cats and children. She has been doing well but we recommend a slow introduction to any new ones in her furever home. It needs to be a controlled situation. First introduction needs to be secure and calm then she will do very well.  We don’t know her past but she came to us absolutely terrified of new experiences and most all new people. She is not scared anymore but everything needs to be introduced slowly to her.  She needs to be on a food schedule with scheduled feedings and no free feeding by leaving out food 24/7.  She is searching for her furever that will allow her to be the cutest princess in all the land.   If you are interested please get in touch with us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   She is ready to go! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 9, 2025, 8:45 pm

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. If you are interested in making Ernie your perfect little sidekick in life, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Story
Alfie Blue is just the sweetest boy who is only 10 months old, weighs 68 pounds with the sweetest and most tender heart for other dogs that you will ever find.  He is living with several very small 10 pounds dogs and he is so very gentle with them.  Maybe it is because he had such a rough start in life as an abandoned puppy with his littermates on a small mountainside in Tennessee.  This boy has overcome such a deep shyness with meeting new people and his foster mom has helped him learn confidence and the acceptance of affection from people. He learned a lot from just going for leash walks that he now really enjoys. He is a kind and sweet dog that is a medium energy, a kind spirit and good with all other creatures large and small in his life.  He is good with cats, dogs and just needs a slow introduction with new people. He loves his walks on the leash in the neighborhood and they have helped him build such a confidence that he never had when he first came to Critter Cavalry Rescue.  He is a Blue Heeler mix and we think he is oh so handsome. This boy loves when his foster mom gets out the leash to go on walks.  He jumps for excitement and joy when you reach for the leash.   Alfie is going to be a special rescue dog for someone.  Someone with a deep understanding for what its like to feel abandoned and left behind scared and uncertain of tomorrow.  If you have the patience and the desire to see a dog blossom every day in to a radiant soul that will make you the center of his universe and love.  If you would like to consider this boy please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Maggie May – A Sweet, Independent Soul Looking for a Fresh Start   At 7 years young, Maggie May is a beautiful Heeler mix with a wise heart, gentle eyes, and a nose that’s always ready for a good sniff. Originally adopted from a shelter after likely raising more than her fair share of litters, Maggie is now looking for a better fit — a home that truly understands her needs and respects her boundaries.   Maggie is the kind of dog who values connection but also independence. She loves pets and scratches, but on her terms — when she’s had enough, she’ll politely walk away like the classy lady she is. She’s not clingy or overly needy, but when she trusts you, her quiet loyalty speaks volumes.   She loves her walks and takes her time exploring the world through her nose, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a good stroll and doesn’t mind stopping to smell the roses (or fire hydrants). On walks, Maggie is well-mannered, and she’s been calm and friendly around children, happily accepting gentle pets without fuss.   She’s not particularly social with other dogs, and larger dogs can make her nervous — she may bark at them, but it’s more about insecurity than aggression. Maggie would do best as the only pet in a calm household where she doesn’t feel the pressure to mingle with other animals.   Currently weighing 33.8 pounds (as of 4/28/25), she’s a healthy girl with up-to-date vaccinations and a lot of life left to live. What she needs now is a younger, patient, and understanding person — someone who sees her not as a project, but as a partner. She’s eager for someone who will challenge her, gently train her, and most importantly, love her for who she is.   Maggie May isn’t looking for chaos — just a peaceful home filled with kindness, structure, and someone who believes in second chances.   If you think Maggie might be your perfect match, reach out to learn more. She’s ready to trade in uncertainty for unconditional love — could that be with you?       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.May 10, 2025, 8:54 pm

Story
NAME: Rosie COLOR: Beige, gray, tan B’DAY: Dec. 2020 TEMPMENT: Energenic WEIGHT: 55 lbs HUMANS: Good; CHILDREN: Over 12 yrs and respectful to animals PETS: good with cats and dogs VETTING: Fully vetted, HW neg and spayed CONTACT: Silverrescue@gmail.com Rosie is a sweet girl. She loves everyone. Because she is so loving we don't really understand why she keeps being overlooked. Rosie is happiest when she can be her person’s shadow, working in the garden, going for a walk in the park, riding in the car to the feedstore or the car mechanic. She’s never been in a canoe. Wouldn’t that be nice. She just wants to be with her person. That’s all. She's also good with dogs and cats. She reads situations well and quickly adjusts and respects her fellow pet companions. She loves children but they must be over 12 to withstand her exuberance when she wants to hug them. Rosie has been through obedience school and knows her basic commands of come, sit, stay, down, leave it and no through she loses focus when something exciting happens. Her vetting is up to date, heartworm negative and spayed. She is crate trained and house and pottie trained. Rosie will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Family must own home. No rentals please. Fence required. If she is to be a companion to another dog it should be a male dog. We require personal and vet references and a homevisit. The adoption fee of $250 is used to save the next abandoned pet like Rosie. For Rosie’s application please contact SilverRescue@gmail.com
