Jett is just over a year old, and he's a very sweet dog that deserves more attention. He's been with us for a few months now, and it's become clear that our home is not a good fit for him. We have small kids, lots of toys, a good bit of chaos. This environment seems to put poor Jett on edge. He started chewing on toys and furniture, and even regressed in his house-training. With such a timid and gentle disposition, this behavior seems very out of place. We truly believe that he'll be great in a quieter home where he can get the love and attention he needs and deserves.

River is 2years old, loves to play and cuddle.In 2024, my church group and I went to NC to help rebuild a town after flooding. The people just up and left their pets and one older dog just gave birth to puppies. And the puppies stayed with their birth mother and older sister out back. I ended up going back 4 weeks later to take the whole litter. 3 of the 4 I was able to find homes for. I kept one. I am a military veteran now facing homelessness. I want River to be in a wonderful, loving home. River loves to run and play ball. He loves his toy mallard duck. I have maybe purchased 1,000 of these. He loves to help, well at least he thinks he's helping, he just sticks his nose into your business. I am only listing an adoption fee because of my living situation. I would love to see him go to the best home.

Harley is a super sweet and goofy, very active, 35 lb, 3 year old Australian shepherd/cattle dog mix who loves cuddles, playing in her doggy pool, and learning new tricks. She is highly trainable and so so smart; we have taught her the names of all of her favorite toys and she can distinguish between them! She is reactive and fearful in that she barks at other dogs on walks but with training she has learned to love young puppies and older male dogs. We had to take her in after a family member had an emergency and we already have two other dogs and she has not been getting along with one of them so we cannot keep her, unfortunately. She would be a great addition to a family who wants only one dog. She is good with cats and we have seen her good with school age children after they give her some treats. Please keep in mind she does need training and will be work. We need her going to an experienced dog owner who will put in the time and energy that she deserves.
