Story
I found angel on the street at three weeks old all alone and he was the most precious thing ever, he wasn’t scared or anything just really excited I was there to save him. He’s about six months now and still sweet as ever. He loves affection he just wants to love and to be loved. He also loves playing and needs to have a yard to run and exercise in. If he doesn’t get the right amount of exercise daily he can be restless. While this isn’t a requirement I think it would be good for him to have other dogs to play with. He would be a great dog for families as all he wants to do is love and play.

Story
NAME: Rosie COLOR: Beige, gray, tan B’DAY: Dec. 2020 TEMPMENT: Energenic WEIGHT: 55 lbs HUMANS: Good; CHILDREN: Over 12 yrs and respectful to animals PETS: good with cats and dogs VETTING: Fully vetted, HW neg and spayed CONTACT: Silverrescue@gmail.com Rosie is a sweet girl. She loves everyone. Because she is so loving we don't really understand why she keeps being overlooked. Rosie is happiest when she can be her person’s shadow, working in the garden, going for a walk in the park, riding in the car to the feedstore or the car mechanic. She’s never been in a canoe. Wouldn’t that be nice. She just wants to be with her person. That’s all. She's also good with dogs and cats. She reads situations well and quickly adjusts and respects her fellow pet companions. She loves children but they must be over 12 to withstand her exuberance when she wants to hug them. Rosie has been through obedience school and knows her basic commands of come, sit, stay, down, leave it and no through she loses focus when something exciting happens. Her vetting is up to date, heartworm negative and spayed. She is crate trained and house and pottie trained. Rosie will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Family must own home. No rentals please. Fence required. If she is to be a companion to another dog it should be a male dog. We require personal and vet references and a homevisit. The adoption fee of $250 is used to save the next abandoned pet like Rosie. For Rosie’s application please contact SilverRescue@gmail.com

Story
Lex is an energetic and curious dog. We adopted him in 2018 from East CAN. Despite being somewhere around 6-8 years old, he has the energy of a puppy. When people ask me the breed of Lex, I usually say he's a mix of energetic and awesome. We have been told he looks like everything from a chihuahua with his long ears, a cattle dog with his face and short hair, and a terrier with his ability to levitate jump. Someone cropped his tail before we adopted him. He can jump super high, but has never jumped over our 5 foot fence. Lex would be a fantastic dog for someone who wants a running buddy (he runs well on a leash, but likes to pull if you're walking) or someone to protect their home (Lex barks if someone or something is out of the ordinary). He eats in his crate, never potties in the house, and has never torn up any of our stuff. He also does not like it when other dogs come close to our son. We are expanding our family and do not have the energy and time to give Lex.

Story
Kai "keeper of the keys" is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) about 5 years old that we adopted 4 years ago. He's been an amazing part of our family and a great dog that we can longer keep. His favorite thing in the world is his tennis ball. He loves to play and run and catch his ball.. He loves people and children but is also protective. I'm looking for someone who can match his needs. Letting him go is heartbreaking as he is one of the best I've ever owned. The adoption fee is only because we want someone who is serious in taking care of him as he will seriously take care of you. ♥️

Story
Spoticus is fun, spirited young dog who is incredibly sweet and loving. He was a stray when he was found and turned into a local shelter. I adopted him, excited to give him a new home. However, I quickly learned that he needs more space than my small studio apartment can offer, as he has lots of energy. He generally does great with other dogs and people, but certain dogs he does not like and will bark at them. He can be reactive on the leash, but has been very responsive to training and now knows most basic commands. I love him dearly, but with my busy schedule, he deserves a home with a yard and other animals so he can run and play, instead of being in the crate while I’m at work.
