Story
Meet Izzy! She is a beautiful girl with soft, medium length, fuzzy, fur. Izzy is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Most of all she just wants to be with her family. She is house trained and crate trained. Izzy loves car rides, neighborhood walks, and relaxing with her people on the couch. Izzy does well with other dogs, when introduced properly. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this sweet girl and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ . Izzy is located in North Alabama with transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

Story
Diamond and Ricie are Cattle Dog sisters. They were reported to GCHS as strays in the Bean Station area that had a litter of pups under a house trailer.  Upon volunteers arriving, it was determined that both sisters had had litters under the trailer within hours of each other. 19 healthy puppies approximately 48 hours old were recovered.  Jefferson City Humane Society and Blount County Humane Society assisted in fostering/rehoming moms and some of the puppies!    GCHS fostered these 5 cuties, and they are ready for adoption!  Meet Reese, Rain and their 3 brothers Roan, Riker and Ransom.  Approximate birthday 12/01/23.  Pups get along great with each other and love to run and play.  Full of energy, they are outgoing and don't shy away from people or other dogs.  Mothers were very outgoing and had a great disposition and just loved humane attention.  Puppies love it too!Out of respect for our foster’s time and privacy we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file. Therefore the first step in our adoption process is to fill out the form on our website. We have one form that is printable and one that is an on-line fillable form. Our agency is ran by volunteers. We will get back to you as quickly as we can. If you have specific questions please email us at graingerhumane@yahoo.com. We do not have a shelter location with regular hours. All of our dogs are in foster homes. All dogs are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption. https://graingercountyhumanesociety.org/available-dogsMay 10, 2024, 6:49 pm
