Clara is a 5 1/2 year old blue-heeler/terrier mix at about 32 lbs. She is an alert, intelligent and loyal dog that needs room to move and travels very well. We currently live in an apartment and new employment will require leaving a cattle dog in a confined place for longer than I am comfortable with. While she gets plenty of daily exercise the time I will be able to devote will have to stop next year. Am, ideally, seeking individuals(s) that have the room (yard or ranch) and are experienced dog owners. She has never been trained to herd but has the instincts and listens and obeys commands very well. She has only been trained with positive reinforcement techniques. He is acclimated to a busy work schedule and is perfectly fine being home alone during the day. He enjoys fetch and a short walk. He will do well with other pets as well, but would recommend him only being in a home with other dogs that are female.

This loving girl needs a home with a family or other pets. Bowie is extremely friendly towards other dogs, children, and new people!
