*** Bluey is NOT in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes. We are simply assisting his current owner with rehoming him at no fault of his own. If you are interested in Bluey, please fill out an application at https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform *** Bluey 11 months old • Blue Heeler / German Shepherd mix Bluey is a playful, energetic pup who loves to chase anything you throw—balls, sticks, you name it! He’s affectionate and always up for belly rubs and attention. Bluey has done well with people and kids, though he hasn’t had much interaction with other animals yet. He’s a healthy young dog to the best of our knowledge, with no known medical or behavioral issues. His previous medical records were misplaced, but we’re working on retrieving them from his former vet. Bluey deserves a home where he can get the time, attention, and activity he loves.

He’s a gentle soul with a calm and affectionate demeanor, making him the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal and laid-back friend. Jasper absolutely loves car rides and walks, and you can see the excitement in his eyes whenever it's time to head out for an adventure! He’s never shown aggression toward people or animals, peacefully coexisting with chickens and a cat for many years. He also has a playful side and enjoys chasing squirrels in the yard from time to time. He gets along with all sizes, breeds, and ages of dogs. He has been around children and done very well. As he ages, Jasper is starting to lose some of his hearing, but his loving, loyal personality remains as strong as ever. During the day, you’ll often find him lounging around the house, enjoying restful moments. Jasper makes an excellent adventure buddy. He’s a smart dog who loves being by his person’s side, bringing comfort and companionship wherever he goes. Story
Big ears, bigger heart, and BEST personality. Atlanta Peaches is the literal definition of happiness! Oh my goodness, is she happy all the time and has the ability to make every single person around her smile. Her ears do too LOL which are my personal favorite thing about her. Atlanta is more than just happy all the time, she is incredibly smart, loyal, dog friendly, loves every person that she meets, and so entertaining to watch when she plays with toys. She is a beautiful blend of fun and snuggles. She will literally use your foot as it dangles while you work to give herself extra affection. You can say her love language is all physical touch! It also doesn't take much to make her happy! She radiates with happiness and just wants to be with her people. People are her happy place. Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet and silly gal: https://youtu.be/724XcamVfIs?si=U0H3eBsVwV0Iolj7 Atlanta Peaches is believed to be a pittie/cattle dog approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 51 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing is a guarantee with Atlanta is that she is bursting at the seems with love and happinesses that it's contagious. Atlanta dog friendly and has been around a variety of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She is not the playful type with other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout type of girly that prefers to get attention from people. She is happy to be around dogs that have the same cool, calm, collected tempo as her. Atlanta also appreciates being around dogs that give her space at the beginning to get to know them first. She's a polite and respectful gal that likes for the same energy to be reciprocated. Once’s she’s comfortable, she does the cutest little play bows and loves to zoom around with her new friend in light hearted games of chase. In a home, she would do best with a mellow male dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't looking for a playmate, only looking for company. She'll be perfect for that! Atlanta also does not need another dog in the home, so no worries there if you don't have a dog. She is so loving and affectionate that she has enough love to give that is equivalent to 3 dogs combined. She's something special! Atlanta would also do best in a home with no cats as she was a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. When it comes to training, Atlanta is ready and eager to learn! She loves treats and already knows a few basic commands such a sit and I'm fairly certain she has the foundation of already knowing how to sit pretty. You could probably even teach her how to dance too LOL. Atlanta is fairly easy to walk on a leash and only pulls every so often. Mainly, she'll pull towards something that smells yummy or interesting or she'll want pull towards someone to say hello to. Atlanta really does love every she meets! She responds well to correction and with consistency and practice she'll be walking like a queen on leash. Atlanta has wonderful house manners and is crate and potty trained. Atlanta will thrive with a semi-active family that enjoys frequent outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, going to the beach or even casual play time in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore parks, trails, or snowy landscapes would be perfect. While she loves the great outdoors and loves to explore, Atlanta is also an affectionate gal at home and loves to burry her head into you for love. If you enjoy the outdoors but also cherish time spent relaxing indoors, Atlanta is the perfect fit. She would also do best in a home with a backyard as well. A place where she can stretch her legs, check out all of her favorite sniff spots, and roll around in the grass and sunbathe during those beautiful summer days. We have not seen Atlanta with kids just yet and based off of what we already know about her, we believe she would make a great dog for a family with kids. We are willing to test Atlanta Peaches with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Meet Tori! Tori is a bright-eyed 3-year-old cattle dog with a sleek coat, expressive ears, and all the classic charm of the breed. She’s as lovely in spirit as she is in looks—sweet-natured, thoughtful, and ready to bond deeply with her people. Tori can start out a bit reserved, but once she warms up, she becomes wonderfully cuddly and affectionate. She loves leaning in for pets and soaking up all the gentle attention you’re willing to offer. Outdoors is where she truly shines—Tori adores exploring, sniffing around, and taking in the world with that smart cattle-dog curiosity. She’s polite in the home, settles nicely, and her calm, steady energy makes her a comforting presence. Whether she’s relaxing at your feet or keeping you company on a quiet walk, Tori is the kind of dog who brings an easy sweetness to everyday life. Good with a calm environment and people who appreciate her gentle spirit, Tori would thrive in a loving home where she can feel secure, understood, and part of the family. She’s a sweet soul—soft, simple, and so easy to love. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Story
This cutie is Ranger. He is currently 5 months old. We think they may be a Heeler / Australian Cattle dog mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Ranger’s video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TQGRVYl1f_o&feature=youtu.be Ranger is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his/her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Ranger is a sweet, spotted boy with soft fur and a gentle heart. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly with kindness and patience. Ranger loves quiet cuddles, soft blankets, and being close to someone he trusts. He’s the perfect pup for a calm, loving home where he can grow into a loyal and affectionate companion. Ranger is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving into their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
