Story
Hello! My name is Kitty, and I’m a sweet Australian Cattle Dog girl looking for a very special person to call my own. I’m a smart, loyal, and loving pup who has so much personality to share once I feel comfortable and know I’m safe. I’m the kind of girl who forms a strong bond with my people. I love having a trusted friend by my side and I’m happiest when I can enjoy a calm, predictable environment where I can relax and be myself. With patience, kindness, and a little time, I’ll show you just how wonderful a companion I can be. I’m looking for a home that understands my needs and can help me feel confident and happy. I’m hoping for a home without men or children, where I can have the peaceful space I need to thrive. I would also do best as the only dog, although that is not a requirement. I may not be the right fit for every home, but for the person who understands me, I have so much love and loyalty to give. I’ll reward your patience with companionship, affection, and a bond that is truly special. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will be by your side and become your one-of-a-kind companion, I may be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to meet you and start our journey together!Restrictions: Teens +, No men in the homeWeight: ~20.7 lbsMedical History: Kitty appears to be a healthy dog overall, but it is always recommended that you set up an appointment with your vet to get your adopted animal a full checkup.Adoption Fee: $200 + tax

Story
Meet Chord! Chord is a bright and friendly Cattle Dog mix who came to us through our rescue partners at Austin Pets Alive!. He’s still settling in, and we are continuing to get to know him as he adjusts to his new environment and learns that he is safe. So far, Chord is showing a social and approachable personality, and we believe that with proper introductions he has the potential to do well with cats, dogs, and kids. Like many Cattle Dog mixes, he will likely benefit from structure, enrichment, and an active home that can keep his smart mind engaged. As we learn more about him, we will continue to update his bio. For now, Chord is looking for a patient, loving home that can help him build confidence, continue his training, and set him up for success as a wonderful lifelong companion. Chord is availibe for foster-to-adopt within 30 minutes of our shelter while we complete his medical. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Meet Loud! Don’t let the name fool you—while Loud can be playful and full of puppy enthusiasm, he’s also a sweet and loving Australian Cattle Dog pup who enjoys time with his people. He’s curious, smart, and always ready for his next adventure, whether that’s exploring the outdoors or learning something new. Like his siblings, Loud is still working on all his puppy basics and will need a home committed to training, structure, and lots of positive reinforcement. He’d do best with an active family ready to keep both his mind and body engaged. Story
Meet Treble! Treble came to us from our partner rescue, Austin Pets Alive!, and she has quickly won hearts everywhere she goes. This sweet, good-natured girl is full of personality, affection, and fun. Treble loves being around her people and is happiest when she's included in whatever you're doing. Whether she's playing in the yard, going for a walk, or chasing her favorite toys, she's always ready for an adventure. In fact, she'd love a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy some playtime! One of Treble's most adorable features is her ears, which always seem to be flipped inside out, giving her an extra dose of charm. She's always up for a game of fetch and brings a playful energy that makes every day a little brighter. Treble is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night without a peep. She's also walking nicely on a leash and knows several basic commands, including sit and down. She's currently working on "place" and is eager to keep learning. She's about 90% potty trained and continues to make great progress. This friendly girl gets along well with children and is playful but respectful around cats, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling with her silly ears and sweet personality, Treble may be the perfect addition to your family! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
