Meet Wyatt, an approximately 2 year old red heeler mix! This sweet boy made the trip from a shelter in Oklahoma to Wisconsin where he is currently being fostered in Sheboygan. He is looking for a second chance on life with his FurEver family! Wyatt absolutely loves people, although he seems best around older children. He will snuggle up on your lap and enjoy all the pets and attention you have to give. Wyatt has enjoyed some extra treats in his past and is a little chunky, so he has all the more love to give but he is working on developing healthier eating habits and really enjoying getting out and moving! He would make the perfect walking buddy and is doing great on a harness. He loves to play fetch and does great at retrieving toys! He has lots of energy to burn so being active is a must! And after a play session he doesn't mind spending time relaxing in the crate and does well sleeping at night in the crate, too! Wyatt gets along well with female dogs but in typical heeler fashion he does like to corral and use his natural heeler instincts. He has always been very attached to his female owner which has created increasing anxiety over the years because he is very protective. He loves other dogs and would do great in a home without kids, since he has shown increasing negative behavior towards our two children. We absolutely love this dog, but can’t risk a negative interaction getting out of hand.

Luke is a good healthy dog. He is a Blue Heeler mix. He love chest and ear rubs. He loves to ride in back of car but will jump up front and back. He love treats in a bone and love a challenge with hiding a treat. He loves dog parks .He loves long walks in wooded path. The down side is he is territorial and will bark aggressively at other big dogs in HIS neighborhood and apartment building. I take him to another neighborhood and he is fine. He is protective and has nipped 6 people in close quarters. He doesn’t like the vet we had to knock him out and carry him in. He doesn’t like baths I use spray no rinse to bath. Hoping that he will be adopted by home in the county, farm or suburb with a buddy. Don’t recommend apartment building. Comes with kennel which he loves to nap in. Any food and treats left over. Coat, collar and leash.
