Story
Ivy booped her way into my teenage daughter's and my hearts when we adopted her from the CASPCA almost two years ago. Her big glossy eyes and velvety seal-like head are irresistible and her various breeds (7+!) add up to an appearance and demeanor that is 100% her own. Her dominant breed (ACD) is a working dog and several of her other breeds are territorial, so she definitely takes her job of protecting her home and her humans seriously. With people and dogs that we meet on territory other than our own, she is completely docile and loveable. Because she grows so attached to her humans (again, in the most heart-melting way), she can become anxious when separated from us for too long, so a perfect home would be one with someone around much of the time. She loves a daily walk, especially in the woods, and keeps up despite her "senior status" (between 7 and 9 yrs old). She is super curious and bright and attuned, always wanting to be a part of things and to be where her people are.

He is currently in Texas, He would love to move to the northeast and would love to go hiking in the cool mountains. Juan can be ground transported to you and his adoption fee also covers the cost of being transported.

This beautiful dog has been diagnosed with endocrine pancreatic insufficiency, a lifelong condition which must be managed with a special dietary supplement. The good news is that with the proper diet and supplements, she can live a great, normal life-- and you won`t find a sweeter dog ready to show appreciation for the special family willing to help her out! Miss Sheila has made friends with other pups here at the shelter and may be able to go home with a well matched furriend. She is not a fan of cats, but IS a fan of of frolicking in the sprinkler...and games of fetch...and hiking opportunities...and any other attention you can spare.
