Story
We acquired Sylvia from the local dog shelter. Sylvia is 4 years old. Sylvia loves being outdoors. I believe she would be a great herding dog and perfect on a farm as I believe she requires to be worked daily. Sylvia would be great in a one or 2 person home. Sylvia is very obedient and listens very well. Sylvia gets protective over food. Best to feed in quiet space alone. We do not think she would be good in a home with children. She needs the attention.

Story
Unfortunately, we have to rehome our baby boy, and it breaks our hearts. He’s a loving, sweet dog, but due to circumstances with our move, we can’t take him with us. We’re hoping to find someone who can give him the happy, stable home he deserves. He’s been around kids and absolutely adores them. He loves to cuddle. He needs to be an only pet, as he’s reactive to both cats and dogs. He is best suited as the only animal in the home. His biggest reactivity trigger is cars—he gets upset even from a distance. He listens well to commands but can be stubborn, so he’ll need someone patient who’s willing to continue his training. He’s crate trained, though he gets very excited when he knows he’s coming out. He’s highly food motivated. We will provide all his supplies and we’re happy to share anything else you want to know. We love him deeply so we’d like to meet you and do a small “trial run” to make sure he’s a good fit for your home and that your family is a good fit for him.

These pups are in Herndon, Virginia too!

Story
Jetson is a lovable and polite 2 year old Aussie Shepard Mix. He loves his soft toys (his babies) and cuddling up with a friend. He has lots of energy and loves showing off his jet speed when told he is the fastest puppy in the word!      Jetson is very calm when inside and doesn't bark at strangers or other animals. He loves being brushed and showing off his newly learned tricks and is quickly learning all basic commands. He doesn't pull on his leash and even waits on the top of the stairs for whoever is walking him. He is just looking for his forever best friends to share pets and treats with.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
This is Scout (Previously known as Rocky and Rocket).  While we don't know his full story, we know that his original owner did him a huge injustice.  He was not neutered and there were 2 other aggressive males in the home also not neutered.  The owner was about to just release him on the streets to fend for himself until a good samaritan stepped in and offered to take him, suggests he wasn't loved.   Scout is a young Blue Heeler Australian Cattle Dog, estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old.  Typical of the breed he has boundless energy and needs a home that will not only provide him with the love and security he craves but also an active lifestyle that will provide him with the physical and mental stimulation he needs to be the best dog he can be.  He also needs consistent training and an experienced owner to provide him with the confidence and skills he needs to cope with everyday life.  He is very loving toward people but Not good around other animals and is currently dog reactive.  He will need to be in a home as the only pet. No dogs.  No cats, and no small children (due to his energy, he might knock them down).  He also needs a yard with a high fence. He is crate trained but is always very excited to come out and it can be challenging getting him to calm down initially but once he has, he is generally very calm inside the home and loves nothing more then to curl up beside you with his head on your lap. Scout is currently in his 3rd foster home.  His current foster is not able to provide the mental and physical activity he needs and is hoping for Scout's sake, his ideal person and home is out there. Scout deserves the opportunity to show his true self but without the training and right life style, the odds are against him. Scout is recently neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all his core shots. Contact foster directly at 703-994-0669 or bkohan2018@hotmail.com as this is a guest posting.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
