Story
Rubie is an energetic girl who loves to play and is eager to please. We have had her over the last year and it's been a true blessing, but my allergies have worsened since I last had a dog as a child. I can't give her all the love and cuddles she is worthy of because of my reaction to her hair. We don't want cost to be a prohibiting factor in this adoption, so please reach out to us with your questions and situations. We just want her to go to a home that will love and care for her.

Story
Hi! My name is Oscar and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 10th, 2024.I am considered a `medium breed` dog.I want to think that I am a very smart dog, but I get so destracted by everything around me that I need a little bit of training in order to show it.I am an affectionate lovebug who would love to show you just how much of a lover I am. Though I am more than happy to take my toys and just go play by myself. So i`m the best of both worlds, a cuddler and indepentant.I am full of energy and I love to play, play, play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.Due to my over excited behavior here in the shelter, the staff believe that I would do best in a home with older children who are dog savvy. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!***April showers bring May flowers - and a lot of dogs at Regional Animal Services! Through May 31, you can `Pick Your Price` when you adopt an adult dog (six months or older). Adoption fees are $25, $50, $75, or $100, plus a pet license fee if applicable.***

Story
MORE INFO COMING SOON! I'm entering the Freedom Tails program and plan to graduate on July 3, 2024! pawsgh.org/freedomtails4/25/24 My name is Molly Whop. I am a Kelpie mix. No, that doesn’t mean I am a mermaid! I’m an Aussie… Oy-Oy-Oy! I am four years old and looking for a place to call home with some people who understand me. When greeting me please don't stare at me. I have a few confidence issues I'm working on. So until I’m comfortable I'm keen on everything going on around me. I am somewhat vocal when I'm unsure of things. And when I'm playing. I’m learning to share my toys with people better. I do like to give hugs as long as you aren't all handsy! My backside is kind of ticklish and it takes a while to build trust. 7I was just enrolled in the Freedom Tails Dog Program and am excited about all I’ll learn. I’m just two weeks in and I’ve been adjusting like a champ. I’ve already learned so much. For example, my handlers growls in his sleep! Crazy right?! But he isn’t mad… just weird. Well, I will keep you updated as to how I progress about every two weeks. Back at you later! Molly Whop Q: What do you call a trainer’s pants with holes in the legs? A: PekingesePlease apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like an all-around great dog - who has energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the "Apply to Adopt" button. I will be waiting for you! To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.
