Story
Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like an all-around great dog - who has energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the ""Apply to Adopt"" button. I will be waiting for you! To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Animal Profile: Dallas is an adorable 10-month-old (best guess), 40 lb spayed female that we think is predominantly Kelpie. She was acquired by a family for their autistic child as a service dog. They soon realized they didn't have the financial or other capability for necessary training and surrendered her to the rural Los Banos shelter, where she was euthanasia listed for space. She was assessed to be friendly and social with people and dogs. She's a 'normal shepherd puppy' just looking for a nice loving home.  Foster Update: Dallas is a sweet girl with typical puppy energy. She's very friendly when meeting new people and other dogs. She has high energy and loves to zoom around the yard with her bigger dog friend. This girl also loves to hike and explore! She recently did an over 10-mile hike and loves long walks, 5-7 miles, in the city and in parks or on trails. She likes her toys and takes care not to destroy them; when excited, she is learning to redirect by placing a ball or a “chew” toy in her mouth. She is improving with walking on a leash, but remains very interested in the world around her so needs encouragement to focus on the task at hand. She is potty trained, her recall is coming along, and her crate training is much improved, though she still prefers to have her people in the room with her while in her crate. When she's out of the crate she likes to be near her humans and will lie down or play with one of her toys; she's surprisingly calm inside. She has not been evaluated with cats or kids. Dallas will do best in a family that is home most of the day or can bring her along with them, has a dog playmate that can match her energy, and is able to continue to provide stability, love, and training to help her be her best self. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Los Banos shelter where she was euth listed for space. She arrived to foster care in Seattle on 5/21. December 4, 2023, 1:16 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Hello there, my name's Sullivan, though my friends call me Sully! I'm an intelligent little furball looking for a loving family and a forever home. I learn really quickly and I've mastered the basics, including getting used to a leash, a kennel, and being housebroken. I'm a real fan of playing with my furry pals, frolicking in water, and indulging in delectable treats. I'm quite a social nugget with a love for being with my hooman— whether it's an exciting adventure, a refreshing hike, a quiet day by the river, or simply unwinding with the fam. I dream of a spacious backyard where I can zip around to my heart's content when the zoomies strike. Be warned: my irresistible puppy eyes and charming smile are sure to make you fall head over heels in no time. Let's become best buddies! Sullivan is around 8 months old and weighs about 32lbs. He is a Kelpie/German Shepherd Mix (our best guess). Sullivan is dog and cat friendly. He is updated on all his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He is currently on flea and heartworm preventative.

He's a playful spirit, always ready to chase after a ball or pup friend, making him the perfect companion for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. But don't let his energy fool you, Sawyer is content laying around getting belly rubs. He will chirp and squeak letting you know how much he enjoys it. He has proven his resilience in the past, having survived being alone on the streets for the hottest summer on record. His skin so burned and mites that his skin cracked open. He could not walk and would scream if you tried to touch him. Yet he remains as playful and loving as ever. Sawyer's playful nature makes his a joy to be around. His ability to bounce back from adversity is truly inspiring. If you're looking for a companion who is full of life, resilient, and will keep you on your toes, then Sawyer is the perfect match for you. Adopt Sawyer and let him bring joy, love, and resilience into your life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Welcome Tinker Bell to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3-month-old Cattle Dog/Aussie is our best guess. She weighs about 17 pounds. She is smart, very attentive and good in a car. She plays with 4 bigger dogs in her foster home and does great. She is potty trained, crate trained and can use the doggie door. We would love someone that knows the breed to adopt. She is a very loyal and smart pup. She will be a joy to work with and people that love this breed will love this pup. It is also best for someone that is bringing in a puppy to have time in their schedule to spend with their new family member and not work 8 hours a day. Tinker Bell likes other dogs so another dog would be great because it would allow her to have a companion when you are gone. She thinks of the crate as her safe space so she will want one in her new home. She is good with nail trims and not aggressive with her food. She isn’t a big shedding dog and very affectionate. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older and the family to be familiar with the cattle dog breed. She is vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful tranporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Welcome Serenity to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mixed dog. She weighs about 45 pounds. She is deaf and only has minor sight in one eye. She gets around like she has all senses completely intact. She is very sweet with all people. She was born without hearing and much sight so she has learned to adapt and when you see her play with other dogs you would not really know. She is great with other dogs her size and gets along in a play group with dogs that are more dominant and bossier. She can go with children. We would like them to be 10 or older. Someone patient with her and gentle in the handling will love this dog. She wants to do what you want and she is gentle, sweet and willing to learn. She is smart and adores attention and being touched. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedder. She would be a great companion for an older couple, older single or someone that is looking for a nice friendly companion. She is good on a leash and follows scent of her person easily. She bonds deeply and quickly. We all love this dog at the Rescue and would really be happy to see her find her forever home. She was found as a stray in Texas and has been with the rescue waiting for her forever home. She is healthy and up on her vaccinations and spayed. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. .
