We have had her over the last year and it's been a true blessing, but my allergies have worsened since I last had a dog as a child. I can't give her all the love and cuddles she is worthy of because of my reaction to her hair. My name is Oscar and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 10th, 2024.I am considered a `medium breed` dog.I want to think that I am a very smart dog, but I get so destracted by everything around me that I need a little bit of training in order to show it.I am an affectionate lovebug who would love to show you just how much of a lover I am. Though I am more than happy to take my toys and just go play by myself. So i`m the best of both worlds, a cuddler and indepentant.I am full of energy and I love to play, play, play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.Due to my over excited behavior here in the shelter, the staff believe that I would do best in a home with older children who are dog savvy. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!***April showers bring May flowers - and a lot of dogs at Regional Animal Services! Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. MEET GIGI! Gigi is a sweet girl with an old soul who will steal your heart. She is a little over a year old and currently weighs about 40 lbs., and is in a foster home in the Greater Seattle area. She is a wonderful medium-size dog for an active person or people. Gigi is housetrained and crate-trained. She walks well on a leash and is calm on car rides and in the home. She is such a well behaved girl it boggles our mind how she ended up as a stray in an overcrowded California shelter, where no one came for her. Without question, Gigi will be your companion through thick and thin. She is loyal and intelligent, and her favorite thing is just to cuddle up with you on the couch. She sits well for treats. Unknown, not recommended What is Fossi's rescue story? The adorable Fossi aka Mr. Ears was saved from the euthanasia list in New Mexico in April and arrived in WA at the end of September 2023. While he had completely shut down in the shelter environment, he has blossomed in his foster home. Temperment/Personality: He is extremely curious, smart, and a total goofball. He is a wonderful companion and wants to be a part of everything you do...whether that's running, cooking, going on errands in the car, or cuddling and napping.Fossi is AMAZING with other doggoes. The owner of the boarding facility he stayed at while his foster parents were traveling for the holidays said he was "her go-to dog who could be introduced to and play with any of the other dogs!" He would really love another pup in his forever home to show him the ropes. He can get overexcited when another dog is on leash, so his adopters will need to be willing to work with him on his fear and stress response to that specific type of interaction. What does Fossi's ideal home look like? Fossi deserves a patient forever family who is comfortable taking people introductions slowly. While his foster dad immediately gained his trust, some men are scary to Fossi upon first meeting. He has great leash manners and LOVES going for walks and runs. His best life is with someone who works from home, is home often and can provide him with lots of mental and physical stimulation, or someone who is willing to take him on all their travels!
