Story
Hi there, human! My name is Gwen, and I'm a 5 to 6-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and paws ready to run into your life! I'm currently living at the Central Arizona Animal Rescue, waiting for someone like you to give me a forever home. Here is a list of reasons why I'm the Pup for You One, I am Friendly and Sociable. I love hanging out with my dog pals here at the rescue. I'm a super nice boy who's all about making friends! Two, I am the Perfect Size. Not too big, not too small, I'm just right! I'll be a medium-sized companion, perfect for all kinds of adventures. Three, I am young and adaptable. I'm still a pup, which means I'm full of potential! I haven't met any cats or kids yet, but I'm young, friendly, and ready to learn how to be the best buddy for everyone. Four, I am healthy and Ready. I've had all my shots, I'm microchipped, and yes, I've been neutered. I'm all set to start our life together! A Little About Me. I haven't had the easiest start in life—my previous owner left me and my brother at the pound. But the kind folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue saw something special in me, and now I'm here, hoping you do too. I'm a blank canvas when it comes to training, but that just means we get to start our journey from scratch, together! Walking on a leash, house training, and cool tricks? I'm eager to learn it all with you. Are you the one I've been waiting for? The human who'll teach me the ropes and share endless cuddles? If you're ready for tail wags, wet noses, and unconditional love, then I'm your guy! Come meet me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue.  To set up an appointment e-mail mike@caaronline.org. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Central Arizona Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We are located in San Tan Valley, AZ. If you have other dogs already, you must bring them for introduction prior to adoption. Story
Hello, my name is Sammy! I am almost two years old and I am ready to find my forever family! I LOVE to cuddle and give kisses. Can 60 pound dogs be lap dogs? If so, sign me up! I am an Aussie mix, and I love to play, but I am strong and need someone who is patient to teach me how to play properly. I have been working really hard with my foster dad on learning how to get along with other humans. I do great with women, but I don’t love men as much. Although my foster dad is a male and he is my BFF. I have not lived with kids, but I met some at an adoption event and they seem okay as long as they are a little older and respect my boundaries. I get along really well with my foster pup siblings, and my foster dad has learned that I have some very specific toys that I don’t like to share. Since he has figured that out, he can now teach my new family how to make sure I get along with other dogs in my new home. I would do better in a home with only medium to large dogs, and I like to chase cats, so my foster dad says it really depends on the cat, but I might be better in a home with only dogs. I also really like chasing flies, so I would like to list pest control on my resume! If you take me home, I promise I will chase them all away. I just want a place to call home. I am eligible for foster to adopt meaning we both get to test each other out and make sure we are the best fit for each other. What a great deal!! MEET  ROY !!! Little Roy is an awesome boy!  Roy is super happiest when he gets to go on walks and play with is foster brothers. He LOVES other dogs and will do best in a home with another playful pup. He learns quickly, and is eager to be taught new tricks! Roy is kind, gentle and cuddly. He is still young, however, so he needs lots of toys for chewing, or he may sneak items that are lying around the house. Roy loves pets and wants both hands involved! He's a super affectionate boy. At this time Roy is best with women, however we are working to get him to the point where he's more comfortable around men.  Roy would do best with an active, attentive person(s) who has the time to play and walk off his younger puppy energy.  If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com   July 26, 2024, 6:02 am
