MEET ROY !!! Little Roy is an awesome boy! Roy is super happiest when he gets to go on walks and play with is foster brothers. He LOVES other dogs and will do best in a home with another playful pup. I am an Aussie mix, and I love to play, but I am strong and need someone who is patient to teach me how to play properly. I have been working really hard with my foster dad on learning how to get along with other humans. I do great with women, but I don’t love men as much. Although my foster dad is a male and he is my BFF. I have not lived with kids, but I met some at an adoption event and they seem okay as long as they are a little older and respect my boundaries. I get along really well with my foster pup siblings, and my foster dad has learned that I have some very specific toys that I don’t like to share. Since he has figured that out, he can now teach my new family how to make sure I get along with other dogs in my new home. I would do better in a home with only medium to large dogs, and I like to chase cats, so my foster dad says it really depends on the cat, but I might be better in a home with only dogs. I also really like chasing flies, so I would like to list pest control on my resume! If you take me home, I promise I will chase them all away. I just want a place to call home. Bear was born on a farm in California from a purebred family of pedigree Australian shepherds. We got him as a puppy a year ago and he's a year old now. He has been through training school and is well trained and great with our other dog (female mini husky) and newborn baby. He's incredibly sweet and loyal. However given his breed, he's extremely high energy and either needs a home with lots of land for him to run around, or needs to be taken out to play fetch daily. We love Bear so much, but unfortunately we are moving to a city in Europe with narrow streets and no yard / few parks, which isn't fair to a shepherd like Bear that needs room to run in every day. So we're looking for the right family who has land and/or time needed to take him out to play fetch daily.

He was dehydrated and so very hungry, but happily wagging his tail as soon as a rescuer approached and boosted him and his brother out of the ditch and happily hopped into their rescuer's car. He is hilarious, loves to romp around and wrestle his brother. Once he is all tuckered out, he snuggles up with his brother for a snooze. This boy is sweet as honey, loves affection and wants so much love. Please understand he has all the typical puppy energy and behaviors. He has some basic training and is house trained and doggy door trained, but will need a dedicated person to patiently teach him the ropes. If kept occupied, he is not destructive and chooses toys over things to chew on.
