Story
Meet Silent Bob — a mellow, gentle soul still searching for his forever home. Silent Bob landed on the E-List in February 2025 for being scared, but today, he’s safe, thriving, and soaking up all the love at ANM. He’s quickly become known as our most easygoing and relaxed pup — happiest when he’s curled up in a cozy bed with a soft blanket for nap time. He enjoys life’s simple pleasures: slow strolls around the neighborhood, tasty treats, and gentle affection. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home where he can live at his own peaceful pace either solo or with another laid-back dog. No high-energy activities for this guy — just leisurely walks and plenty of cuddle time on the couch. Could you be the one to give Silent Bob the warm, comfortable forever home he deserves? Note: While Silent Bob was found with Jay and Poppy — and they do enjoy each other's company — they are independent and perfectly happy to be adopted separately or together.

Story
Runner is looking for a family with a calm yet active vibe. He needs a yard for play and at least one other well-socialized dog that is neither a senior nor a puppy. He has just recently joined our rescue and is initially very cautious with new people! Runner will flourish with time and patience, and a new doggy friend will be a huge help in getting Runner comfortable in his new surroundings.   Runner is gentle and very sweet, but being fearful can lead to mishaps if doors or gates are left open. For that reason, we seek homes where children, if any, are middle-school aged or older. Runner will be the delight of everyone in his new family! Please consider a shy dog as they blossom to be such special and devoted companions. Runner will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements. If you believe you're a possible match based on the detailed profile posted on our website, please complete our online adoption application. Discussion about a dog, including scheduling a home check, can't occur until we have received your complete adoption application. Story
“Princess Grace” is an easy, happy, and very lovable dog. She LOVES walks and does beautifully on leash - even with lots of "dog traffic" she is a superstar! Grace gets very excited to go for a walk and enjoys every minute of it. So it is extra fun to watch her arrive back at home and do crazy zoomies in the backyard. She also enjoys car rides, and has a lot of fun playing hide and seek with her foster mom.    Grace's foster mom describes her as "a dream dog" -- she lounges happily while foster mom does desk work, and loves to accompany her for garden chores. Grace thrives on cuddles and attention. She is a beautiful, interesting companion and a bit of an "old soul" with a silly, joyful spirit. Grace is *exceptionally* well-behaved in the home. While trustworthy and independent, she also likes check in for pets and bellyrubs. Grace currently weighs a fluffy 55 pounds, with a healthy goal weight of a bit less than 50 pounds.  We were told that Grace became possessive of food and toys in her prior home, and that young children made her anxious. She will SHINE as an only dog with access to a large, fenced backyard of her own. (Not a candidate for apartment living or a dog-parks lifestyle.) Grace maintains a cat- and bunny-free yard, but is not an obsessive barker - even with one living nearby… If you believe you're a good match for her, please complete our adoption application, detailing your experience with training and socializing herding breeds. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. Thank you! http://betterdaysrescue.org/adoption-application.html October 28, 2024, 6:05 pm

Story
SKY is very friendly and smart and eager to please. He walks well on a leash and is good with other dogs. He is playful but will settle down pretty quickly. He would be a very good travel and hiking companion but he is also a content dog. He is bright and alert and in perfect health. April 15, 2025, 10:28 pm
