Jagger had been a travel companion with his owner for ten years before medical necessity required him to move in with family. Unfortunately his owner's health has continued to decline and he is no longer able to provide Jagger with the attention and care he needs and deserves. Additionally, their current housing includes other dogs and small children which Jagger does not tolerate well. Jagger has been used to a pretty isolated living situation with the sole attention of his traveling companion; they did everything together. This change of situation has caused quite of bit of anxiety and stress for Jagger. He would be a great companion for an adult that could spend the time creating a bond with him. His owner would be willing to provide support for food and vet care if he could find a new loving home. He is healthy and enjoys walks and playing, he is missing a few teeth but manages to eat just fine, especially treats!
