Hi, my name is Cobalt! I am an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a merle coat, one brown eye, one blue eye, and a whole lot of personality to go with it. 🐾 I am sweet and playful with the people I love, and I do like to do things on my own terms — I am a little independent like that. I may take a moment to warm up to new people, but once I do, I am all in. I was born 3/21/26. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $350. Story
I’ve been told I have a look that stops people in their tracks — and honestly, I think it’s the eye patch. I’m Cerulean, a white Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix born 3/21/26, and yes, that bold black patch around my eye is all natural. No costume required. But my looks aren’t even the best part. I am an absolute blast to be around. I’m playful, curious, and always ready for whatever comes next. If you’re looking for a pup with personality to spare and a face you won’t soon forget, I might just be your girl. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $350. I was born on 4/17/26, and I have been told I am pretty hard to walk past without stopping for a second look. My name is Ronnie, and I am a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a thick, fluffy cream coat and bold black and tan markings on my face that make me unlike anyone else in the room. I am sweet, playful, and full of love. I cannot wait to find a forever family to call my own. I have been spayed, am up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and have been microchipped. Story
You might do a double-take when you see my photos — and honestly, I’m used to it by now. My name is Indigo, and yes, that black patch on top of my head does make me look a little like Eddie Munster. I’ve embraced it. I’m a blue merle Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix, born 3/21/26, with blue eyes that people seem to find pretty hard to look away from. I’m a sweet guy, though I’ll be upfront — I have an independent side. I don’t need to be in your lap every second of the day, but I love connecting with the right person in my own way and on my own time. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $350. If you think you might be my person, visit www.ThePuppyMamma.com to learn more and apply.

Story
Archie is an amazing, gentle and sweet tempered Aussie! We love him and he has been such a good part of our family, but we are moving somewhere we cannot take him with us and have to say goodbye. He is in great health, neutered, and up to date on all shots. We are ideally looking for another family with kids and other pets to keep him company. He loves to do anything by your side, especially nap in the AC to beat the heat! He has been around other dogs and even rabbits and is gentle and good with everyone. We have young kids and he is a total sweetheart with them around the house. His one flaw is he is afraid of birthday balloons and the vacuum cleaner, but if you know Aussie's then you've seen this before! He will hide under the bed until the danger has passed lol. Please reach out to meet him if you are interested! We are located in the Gilbert area and can meet in the east valley.

Story
Hi there… my name is Love, and if you’ve got a few minutes, I’d really like to tell you my story. I’m about a year old, an Australian Shepherd mix, and everyone says I’m as sweet as my name. Not too long ago, my life was a little uncertain. I was found wandering as a stray in Yuma, Arizona, and the kind officers there made sure I was safe. I waited and waited, hoping my family would come find me—but when no one showed up, I was given a second chance. I took a little road trip (which I thought was pretty exciting!) and ended up here at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, where I’m being cared for until I find my real forever home. Maybe that home could be with you? I’ll be honest—I can be a tiny bit shy at first. New places and new faces can feel a little overwhelming. But here’s the thing: it doesn’t take long at all for me to figure out that I’m safe. Give me just a few minutes, a gentle voice, and a little patience… and I’ll start to trust you. And once I do? Oh, get ready. I’ll climb right into your lap (yes, I know I’m not exactly tiny, but I think I am!) and cover you in happy kisses. I LOVE to snuggle—hence the name, right? Being close to my person is my favorite place in the whole world. I’ve been sharing my kennel with other dogs, and so far, I’ve done really well! I enjoy their company, and I’m respectful and friendly. As for cats… well, that’s a bit of a mystery. No one has seen me around them yet, so we’d just need to take introductions slow and steady if you have feline friends at home. I think I’d be good with kids too—I’ve got a gentle heart—but I should let you know that I’m still learning my manners. I’m young, after all! I could use some guidance with things like walking nicely on a leash and understanding all the rules of being a well-behaved family member. The good news? I’m very smart and eager to please. With a little consistency and love, I’ll catch on quickly. Speaking of learning, no one is quite sure if I’m house trained yet. But don’t worry—like I said, I’m a quick learner, and I really want to make you proud. With a routine and encouragement, I’ll figure it out in no time. I’ve already had some important things taken care of—I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, I’ve been microchipped, and I’m spayed. That means I’m healthy, ready for my new life, and I’ll always have a way to find my way back home to you. I think that part might be my favorite—knowing I’ll finally belong somewhere. What I’m really looking for is a family who will be patient with me as I settle in, who will give me the love I’ve been waiting for, and who won’t mind a cuddle buddy who sometimes forgets how big she is. I promise to return that love tenfold—with loyalty, tail wags, and lots and lots of kisses. If your heart just melted a little reading this… maybe that’s not a coincidence. If you’d like to meet me—really meet me, with kisses and all—please ask the nice humans here to set up an appointment. You can email mike@caaronline.org and they’ll help you arrange a visit. I’ll be right here, waiting, hoping that my forever family comes walking through that door. With all the love I have to give, Love     PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Gus has a lot going for him — the looks, the personality, the goofy playful side… he just needs someone willing to give him a chance. 🥺🐶💛 This handsome Aussie mix (born November 2021) is urgently looking for a foster or forever home where he can settle in, feel safe, and show off the loyal heart hiding behind those beautiful eyes. 🏡✨ Once Gus decides you’re part of his circle, he is ALL in. He’s affectionate, playful, smart, and happiest when he’s spending time with his favorite people and dog buddies. 💕 A few things to love about Gus: 🐕 Great with other dogs 🐱 Cat-friendly 👧 Wonderful with children of all ages 🧠 Knows his name, sit, and shake with BOTH paws 🚪 Doggy-door trained 🪢 Professional-level tug-of-war enthusiast 😄 His ideal day? Playing with dog friends, showing off his tricks for treats, and carrying around his favorite tug toy like he just won a championship. 🏆🐾 Gus is still learning a few things: 🦮 Leash walking is new for him 🛏️ He’s not crate trained yet 👨 He can take time warming up to unfamiliar men Because of that, Gus needs a calm, patient home that understands slow introductions and will give him the space and consistency to build confidence. Once he feels secure, he becomes an incredibly loving and devoted companion. 💛 🚨 Right now, Gus urgently needs a foster or adopter. Fostering means: 💸 Completely free — the rescue covers food, supplies, and vet care 🐶 You provide the safe place and love ✨ And if you fall in love? Fosters get first choice to adopt Gus doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone willing to say, “come on in, buddy… you’re safe here.” 🥹🐾 Apply below to foster or adopt Gus and help this sweet boy finally catch his break. 💛 Adoption App: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LCDR/Dog Foster App: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/LCDR/Dog
