Story
Jack has Valley fever. He gets seen by the vet to get medication for that. He usually takes the medicine twice a day. He enjoys walks. Being 10 years old he is a bit more limited physically. He doesn’t enjoy younger dogs all over him but enjoys the company of other dogs and kids who are kind to him. He loves pets and snuggles and giving good company. He also has done some hiking but not too rigorous since he is a senior dog. He’s a very happy dog and very handsome.

Story
Nico is a 2-year-old rescue we brought home from a breeder in Mexico. He is truly a gentle giant with lots of energy and a big love for rough play and fun. Nico thrives on activity and enjoys being engaged. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Nico is mostly potty trained, though he is still a work in progress and would benefit from continued consistency. When rescued, we didn’t know his breed or just how big he would grow. Over the past two years, we have done everything we can to give him a loving and fulfilling life while living in apartments.Due to another relocation, we are no longer able to provide the space and environment he truly deserves. This decision breaks our hearts, but our priority is finding whats best for Nico. We are looking for a loving home with a yard where Nico can run, play, and burn off his energy. He would do best with a family or individual who understands large, active dogs and can continue giving him the love, structure and room to grow.

Story
Hi there, I'm Ruby—and I'm ready to love you forever. I’m about 2 years old, a mixed breed girl with a heart full of snuggles and a nose that’s always ready for kisses. Life hasn’t always been easy—I was found wandering the streets with my brother Rusty, scared and unsure of the world. But then we landed at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and wow… they gave us love, safety, and belly rubs. Total game-changer. I’ve had a couple of homes since then. The first one was lovely, but there was a little dog there who just didn’t vibe with me. Same thing happened in the second home. So now I’m back at the rescue, hoping third time’s the charm. This time, I’m asking for a home with no little dogs, please. I get along great with people and big dogs—I just need a space where I can be my best self. &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what I bring to the table: I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my shots I walk like a pro on leash and I’m house trained I’m super smart and love learning new things I’m obsessed with squeaky toys, tasty treats, and cozy dog beds I’ve got a gorgeous reddish coat, white-tipped toes, a sweet red nose, and eyes that’ll melt your heart. I weigh around 40–50 pounds and while no one knows exactly what breeds are in my mix, I’ve heard whispers of Australian shepherd and red nose Staffordshire terrier. Honestly? I’m just Ruby. One of a kind. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly goofy best friend, I’m your girl. I promise to make you laugh, keep you company, and love you with everything I’ve got. Come meet me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Just email mike@caaronline.org to set up a visit. I’ll be waiting—with tail wags and hopeful eyes. Love, Ruby   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail. All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Callie is searching for a calm, tranquil home where she can continue to blossom. She has made remarkable progress since being picked up from Casa Grande Animal Control and shows just how resilient and eager to learn she truly is. Callie does well with other dogs and with both men and women. She would be best suited for a home with older children, but she can also do well with younger kids who understand and respect boundaries. She previously struggled with resource guarding around food and toys, but with consistent structure and patience, she has come a long way. She eats in a separate room and is making great strides in learning to share her toys something we’re incredibly proud of her for. Callie can be reactive to new or unfamiliar noises, but when gently cuddled close, she quickly relaxes and takes comfort in reassurance. She is doing well on leash, is fully potty trained, and continues to gain confidence every day. She is still learning about the crate and will benefit from a slow, positive introduction at her own pace. Callie is a sensitive, intelligent girl who thrives with routine, calm energy, and gentle guidance. In the right home, she will make a deeply loyal and loving companion. https://forms.gle/7dTuG94nZKd839c2A

Story
Courtesy Post – Meet Diamond! 🐶 This beautiful baby needs a loving home! Diamond is a 65 pound collie mix. She is spayed as well as microchip and does very well in a kennel. She has not been indoors so unsure if she is housebroken or not. She does like to dig a bit and chew on things but we have given her enrichment toys to keep her attention and energy at bay when kenneled. She does very well on a leash and really loves water. she does well around other dogs but we have not seen her interact with any cats. She is a huge cuddle bug and does like to jump up to give ‘hugs’ and get head pats. We are working on her recall but for starters she does know the sit command! Very loving girl. Unfortunately, we do not have space to take them in, so we are hoping to find loving homes through this courtesy post. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Carbon or Diamond, please reach out to Joey Gonzalez at 602-535-9400. Let’s find these sweet pups their forever home! ❤️
