Oliver is a sweet and playful Mini Aussie that weighs 15 lbs. He is wonderful with our kids, but is overly protective of them where he growls at, barks, and has nipped at a few of our children’s’ friends. He has never drawn blood, but we have neighborhood kids come in and out of our home frequently and are now in a position where we have to crate him anytime a friend is over to play because of how protective he is toward outsiders that come into our home. He is so sweet and wonderful with his pack (our family).

Columba made a lot of progress today! He sat on the ottoman right behind Stephen and let him pet him for a bit! He follows Axel around and he started to chase the tennis ball with him. He is sooooooo fast. Not food driven at all, at least not yet. He doesn't cry when in the kennel, but when we leave him outside in the pen, he howls like crazy. He responds great to men (more so than females tbh), he loves chasing flies, he is a destroyer of anything fuzzy (especially rugs). He growls a little when the dogs get near his kennel, but it's just a growl no posturing or anything like that and he tries to hide as far back as he can. He does seem to need a 'job'. Hes a little destructive, not too bad though. I would do better in a home with only medium to large dogs, and I like to chase cats, so my foster dad says it really depends on the cat, but I might be better in a home with only dogs.
