**Meet Rudy! ❤️** Rudy is a **15-month-old** young dog who came to our rescue as part of a lively litter of **11 puppies**, along with their mom. His mom’s DNA testing confirmed she is a **Malinois/German Shepherd mix**, and because the puppies all looked so different, DNA testing was done on several of them. Two siblings tested as an even mix of **Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Husky, and Malinois**, while another tested as **50% Australian Shepherd** mixed with mom’s **Malinois/German Shepherd** lineage—making this a true multi-dad litter. While Rudy hasn’t had his own DNA test yet, his **identical-looking brother** was tested and came back as **50% Australian Shepherd**, so we expect Rudy’s mix to be very similar and place him in the **Australian Shepherd / Malinois / German Shepherd** group. Rudy is a **ball of energy** with a big personality. He loves to play and enjoys the company of other dogs, though he definitely likes to be in charge. While he’s a bit smaller than some of his siblings, he more than holds his own and keeps up just fine. Rudy is also a **total cuddle bug** who loves attention and being close to his people. He can take a little longer than his siblings to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s completely devoted. Like his brothers and sisters, Rudy is **playful, curious, cuddly, and always sweet and loving**. Rudy is an **active dog** who will need daily exercise and regular activity to stay happy and balanced. He enjoys splashing in the kiddie pools but isn’t quite as water-obsessed as some of his siblings. He is curious about the goats at the rescue but has shown **no aggression**, and he’s shown little interest in the chickens when they’re in their coop. Rudy has not been tested with cats and does have some prey drive, so a cat-free home may be the best fit. Rudy is **potty trained**, **vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered**, and fully ready to head home. If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate dog with a bit of confidence and a whole lot of love to give, **Rudy is ready to find his perfect family** 🐾💙

Chevy is a 9 year old male, Aussie, that is fully obedient trained. He loves camping, parks, walks, tug play and water. He is good with other dogs and was raised with two cats (although we have not had cats for quite awhile). He is great with adults and older children, however, will need to warm up to people. He has recently become mildly aggressive towards small children. We have a four year old toddler and with Chevy's herding instinct, he has been nipping when our son is running, playing, etc, and we are afraid this may become serious. It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions that we have to rehome him, however, we feel it is the best thing for him and our family. Hoping to find a good home for him.

My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. But what I want most is a family to share all my love and energy with. Adopting me means boundless love, and a faithful friend forever.
