Story
Murphy is a 5 year old pure bred blue Merle mini Australian shepherd. 29 pounds and the sweetest boy. I got him as a puppy from a breeder in Bakersfield during CoVid. He is loving, loyal, playful, smart, loves walks and fetch. He will do great with an active single person or couple or family that does not have young (baby - 8 years kids). Aussies have the sheep herding instinct and he thinks little kids are sheep so he will bark and chase them and would need training to be around little kids. No aggression issues - super passive and will be your shadow and want to cuddle and play with you all day. If you love dogs and being active outside (hiking/walks/dog park) and want a new best friend he is the guy for you. I am single and moving out of state for work and this breaks my heart because he is as perfect as he seems but my schedule won't allow me to have him anymore. He is perfectly healthy, fully up to date on all shots and money doesnt matter - just want a loving home for him

Story
Gancito is a 4-yr-old neutered male Mini Aussie (~40 lb, tri-color). With us since puppy (breeder). Smart, sweet, and very cuddly—after he’s had real exercise + mental work. High-energy herding breed: without structure/stimulation he can bark, get destructive, or reactive. Potty + crate trained; knows sit/down/shake; completed 4-week training and does best with experienced handling and clear rules. Not off-leash reliable (will chase). Good with adults; can live with kids/cat with close supervision (may herd/chase). With dogs he wants to play immediately and can overwhelm some. Past fear bite when a stranger reached into his crate; not aggressive and has never bitten a dog. Healthy, vaccines current. Seeking an active, experienced home that can provide daily exercise, training, and enrichment. Loves hikes and puzzle toys, and is a loyal “velcro” cuddler. First few nights may include some howling while he adjusts. Was trained with prong+ecollar.

Story
Kristi is a Australian Shepherd Mix. Her estimated date of birth is 8/20/2015 and she weighs 40 lbs. She is up to date on all of her shots and she is fixed. Kristi is OK with people that she knows but is not good with new people. She is better suited for a home that has no cats, no kids or other dogs or small animals.  Kristi does like to vocalize and would be best in a house as she needs a lot of space to run around. Kristi is not good alone and does need someone she can trust to be her side most of the time. Kristi requires a very special diet and does not tolerate prepackaged dog food well. She has some minor skin issues that do require weekly medication.  She has a very high energy level and would require exercise on a daily basis for at least 1 hour otherwise she has the tendency to be destructive to items.  Kristi does have some issues on a a leash and has a small problem with marking in homes. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. Story
Astro is a happy, handsome boy with a gorgeous black-and-white coat, a smile that lights up the room, and the kind of loyalty you dream about. At around 1–2 years old, he’s in that perfect sweet spot: playful, curious, and full of love to give! He’s the kind of dog who will follow you around like your shadow, ready to join in on adventures, car rides, or cozy naps on the couch. Astro is super smart and loves learning new things — especially when treats are involved! Whether it’s fetch in the yard or a puzzle toy in the living room, this boy loves fun and engagement. Astro would do best in a home where he can get lots of attention, playtime, and a bit of structure to help him keep shining. He’s already got a great start and just needs someone who’s ready to keep building that bond with him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger potential, Astro’s your guy! 💫
