Story
Introducing our sweet little fluff, Ollie Wolly, aka Ollie!  Ollie is a handsome 4-year-old male Australian Shepherd mix who is approximately 18 pounds and has a beautiful black and white coat.  He is a sweet little fluffer who loves to be snuggled and cuddled and will even raise his paw when asking for attention!  He is extremely polite by nature and his foster mom tells us that he will ask for permission before jumping up on furniture.  Ollie is still learning that he is welcome everywhere!  He can be a bit shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and has lots of love to share, you will know you have his heart when he rolls over and asks for belly rubs!  Ollie is one of the most unique Australian Shepherds mixes we’ve met as he seems to prefer lounging around with his human over hours of playtime, he is a true medium energy pup!  He enjoys his daily walks and will need regular grooming to look and feel his best!  Ollie does great with all people (especially men!), dogs, cats and will do just fine with children who have a gentle touch; we are recommending a home with children over the age of 10.  Ollie knows basic commands and is both potty and leash trained.  He will do best in a home where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves! Ollie will do great with another well-adjusted fur sibling or just fine as an only pup.  He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and has been dewormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in meeting or adopting this perfect little guy, please go to www.lolr.org to fill out an adoption application. ##2088483##

Story
Meet Penny! A Good Samaritan found Penny as a stray and took her home to care for her until she can be adopted. This beautiful blue-eyed girl is likely no older than one year old and about 35-40 lbs. She is still fearful of new people so will need a patient home to help her adjust to a new environment. Penny does not like to be alone, but if kept on a schedule, she does well. She will need exercised twice daily before the day heats up. She enjoys laying in her crate and is working on proper crate training. She seems to know basic commands. The best home for her will need a steady, confident, experienced owner with predictable habits and even better if there are other dogs she can learn from. She is a runner, so proper leashing and a fence is a must. Penny has not been tested with cats or kids yet. We would recommend kids over 12 who understand boundaries. Interested in adopting Penny and giving her the new life she deserves? Fill out an application today!July 25, 2024, 8:48 pm

Story
Meet Mosey Fields,  a very special  puppy  who is  just under one year old. Mosey has a neurological condition, most likely Cerebral Hypoplasia, which makes him a special-needs dog. Despite his challenges, Mosey is a joyful and big-hearted pup. We recently put him in a jacuzzi with a swim vest, and he learned a lot about connecting his body with his brain. Initially, Mosey used to squirm on the floor like a reptile, but now  he  walks and romps  around  without a harness. Although he still does well with a harness for stability, he can now walk  by himself  in a large carpeted bedroom area. Mosey has made  great  progress -  he  has learned to track, make eye contact, jump on and off the couch, and loves to cuddle. He has also been playful around other dogs and adores people. This little fighter will benefit from a wheelchair and  will  thrive in a loving home. Consider making him a part of your family, and he will return the love and continue to grow into the best version of himself. If you're interested in adopting Mosey, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Mosey's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.July 23, 2024, 4:47 pm

Story
Meet Adoptable Lola! She’s a very affectionate and happy 3 year old Australian Shepherd/Sheepdog mix, around 80 lbs. She’s potty trained, and loves her crate. She has had some professional basic training. She is ecollar, muzzle, and prong collar trained. All these tools come with her to continue her push-button training. She knows sit, down, heel, leave it, wait, out, come, no, and crates on command. She also waits for the release command to eat. The guardian breeds in her makes her an amazing watch dog. She’s well behaved, and obedient. She loves to hike in the hills, and on the trail she has excellent off-leash recall. She also knows wait (and will stop and wait for you to catch up). She knows out (and will get out of the bushes in case of snakes). She’s great in the car for long periods on road trips, and the perfect camping/exploring  partner. Lola loves fetch, as well as playing with her toys, although tug is her very favorite type of play (if you’re strong enough). Lola was attacked by an off leash dog, so she has leash reactivity/fear of unknown dogs. She is working hard to overcome her fears, and needs an experienced adopter to continue her training back to neutral/non-reactivity. She is good with other calm dogs after proper introductions, and currently lives harmoniously with 3 males at her foster house. Sweet Lola can’t wait to meet you!  Interested in adopting this pet?
