Meet the beautiful Sugar! Sugar came into our care in May 2023 as a puppy after her mother gave birth here. She was adopted but returned 9 months later because the older dogs in her new home couldn't keep up with her energy. The adopters felt she'd be better suited to a family with younger animals. Sugar is a bit prey-driven and would do best in a home without small animals. She is smart and knows basic commands but could benefit from additional training as she is quite strong. She is house-trained, potty-trained, and crate-trained. Sugar is a sweetheart who adores people. While she may be a little nervous initially, she warms up very quickly. She is a loving girl who truly deserves the best home. Sugar is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. It's evident he has experienced hardship and likely didn't receive proper care. Since coming into our care, Freckles has been showered with love as he waits for his forever home. Due to his past, Freckles is quite fearful around people and needs time to acclimate. He's still adjusting to his new environment and isn't comfortable walking on a leash yet. Every day, we see him gradually opening up and showing more of his personality. Soda would thrive best in a calm household with patient adopters who can give him the space and time he needs to build trust. Freckles arrived with his friend Soda, suggesting he may do well with another dog if introduced properly. While we haven't tested him with cats, we believe he would prefer a home with older, quieter children. Freckles is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
