Jade is 8 years old. She is very smart, likes to be active and given commands & tricks. She loves to play fetch & go on walks. She has sensitive spots she doesnt like to be touched like her feet & tummy. She likes her personal space so thats why we say no kids or other dogs would be the best home. Its hard to cut her hair because she will snap. She doesnt always get along with our dogs so best if she is the only dog. She isnt bad with kids but she will keep her distance so a home without kids would be better. She is very independent & is a good dog in the right situation & household

Story

Benito is 1 year 8 month old neutered male Australian Shepherd. We adopted him at age 7 months as his previous owners were unable to give him the space/attention/socialization he needed. We previously adopted a 3 year male Aussie-mix, so thought Benito would make a great addition to our family. Unfortunately, the two dogs do not get along and have to be kept separate. Benito is reactive to new people and other dogs, thus an experienced adopter is requested. Benito is house-trained, crate-trained and very smart. He learns tricks easily (especially if treats are involved!) He enjoys playing fetch and is a great catch. Once he knows you, he is a loving boy. It breaks my heart that we were not successful in acclimating Benito to our family. He has so much potential. Benito would do well in a single pet home that can better foster his star qualities. Unfortunately, the need to rehome Benito is becoming urgent (by 7/12 at the latest). Please help us save him!

Benny is 1 year and 6 months old. I adopted him from the shelter 4 months ago but realized he requires consistent training, and outdoor space than I can provide. . He loves to cuddle and is still learning how to fetch but loves chasing after a tennis ball. He knows the Sit command. He is great on leash but will keep his distance from other people. He is highly food motivated. Loves to sleep. He is great with dogs but cautious of people. He is crate trained. He is afraid of loud noises and is very slow and cautious about warming up to people. He appreciates his space from others he doesn't trust yet. He’s very sweet

Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people. Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision. Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and boarding is not an option for her as she will need a home environment to help her better transition to this new life. She’ll need some guidance as she navigates thru a new environment. She is very dog-friendly and lived with 180 dogs.
