Story
Zoey is a mini Aussie and is a very loving companion. She is great with children and friendly with any new people she meets. She adapts well to what your family is doing. If your family is just relaxing after a long day she is ready to just lay at your feet in the living room. She is truly an amazing dog and we have never had issues with her being destructive. Zoey just sniffs and walks around. She is always fun to play with and has brought some really good laughs to our family with her silly energy. We are unable to take care of her due to circumstances and would just love for her to go to a loving home. The profile will say needs to be spayed within 30 days but that is put up by the website as a default. It is not a requirement from our family, truly your decision.

Story
Meet Farfella, now known as Nala. She was adopted from us a few years ago and recently came back into our care. This sweet girl is quite the vocal, herding shepherd dog. She loves trying to be in control but loves the guidance from a strong leader. She is extremely driven to learn, fetch, and have fun. Nala enjoys playing on a lakeside and dipping her toes in the water, she does well in groups of other dogs and also can relax when it’s time to cool down. Nala is leash and crate trained, a good listener and would do best in a home that loves dogs with energy.  Nala does well with children over 5 years old, she loves all adults, and doesn’t seem to mind strangers. Although she can be a little sensitive like many shepherds. Nala does well with cats and dogs. If she were to live with a dog it just needs to be the right dog :) Contact us to learn more at 847-338-3252 or email us at info@redemptionroadinc.org View more media on our Instagram: Redemptionroadinc or our trainer’s instagram: Fullcircledogtrainer       February 20, 2024, 7:14 am

Story
Lopper is being fostered in Muscatine IA We have waited for this day for 6 months!  Introducing Lopper!  This GORGEOUS, sweetheart, blue merle boy is finally ready for his forevers! YAY! Lopper is a 4 year old, 50lb Australian Shepherd Mix.  He came to us from the Humane Society because he was heartworm positive.  He has blossomed SO much in his foster home and has been treated for heartworm disease.  Lopper enjoys cuddling, taking walks, going camping, car rides, chewing on bones and being cute!  He is house trained and crate trained, but has been known to escape his crate a time or two.  This boy is medium energy and would love nothing but to snuggle up to his human after his daily exercise. With new people, Lopper can be a little shy but he warms up quickly especially with treats and praise. Lopper is quite velcro and once bonded, probably wouldn't even need a fence.  He has excellent recall.  Speaking of skills, this boy has his basic obedience down pat!   Lopper would do best in a home with other dogs, cats and kids.  He would prefer an adopter that is home more often than not. He likes to play with other dogs and will adjust his play style to the the other dogs in his foster home.  He has met cats and doesn't seem to care about them, but is not currently living with a cat in his foster home. Lopper is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm.   Does Lopper sound like your next family member?  If so, please complete an adoption application by going to our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.   ##1754289##

Story
Dream is being fostered in Waterford MI This Dreamy boy is looking for his forever home! He is a blue merle Miniature American Shepherd (Mini Aussie), between 2  - 3 years old and currently weighs 30lbs.  This gorgeous blue merle mini is a breeder surrender who will capture your heart as he looks at you with adoration through his expressive brown eyes.  Once he bonds with his new forever family he will seek out attention and openly provide you with affection. Having spent the past few years in a breeding situation, Dream is currently learning how to be a family dog with his foster.  He is working on house manners and leash etiquette.  He will go in his crate with coaxing or a treat, but prefers being out with the other pups.  He has done well left out of his crate for 1/2 day periods.  Dream is very food motivated and has shown promising learning ability, quickly learning to sit and wait his turn for treats when rewarded.  Dream can be an active dog, but he has a nice "off" switch and tends to enjoy just lazing around with his humans or in the doggy bed as well.  He has not shown much interest in toys yet, but surely in an attempt to bond with humans shoes and socks left vulnerable out in the open may be fair game.  Dream would do best in a fenced yard, as he likes to show off his speed and agility when outdoors.  Properly leash trained, he may be an excellent outdoor companion as he likes to explore wherever he goes.  He would benefit from a doggy sibling in the home as well to take cues from on becoming a family pet.  He seems to be ok with dog-savvy kitties and would be okay with children over the age of 10 years.   Dream is neutered, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. If you are looking for your Dream Dog to be your forever best friend then consider providing Dream with an opportunity to properly train for the position by providing him a forever home.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##1911717##

Story
Hoss is being fostered in Shelbyville MI Meet Hoss!  This GORGEOUS boy is standard blue merle Australian Shepherd.  He was born on 12/7/23 and is still a baby.  He and his littermates are looking for their forevers.  They are WICKED smart!  They have NO fear! They are curious, brave and brilliant.  What more can you want from an Aussie?  They are already exhibiting excellent working skills and will be smarter than the average person.  No, we aren't really kidding ;p Hoss is on a strict potty schedule that needs to be continued in his forever home.  Crate training is also in progress.  Hoss is in a home with many other kinds of animals and is learning that each one of them is fun.  He has also met lots of toddlers and really likes them too!  This boy is already working on his puppy Rule of 12s for socializing and is learning that various stimuli are fun!  In order to grow up and be a well adjusted dog, this socialization with the world around him is CRITICAL.  If not socialized properly, Aussies can turn into guard dogs, afterall that is what they were bred to work. Hoss is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed and is on monthly prevention.  If you are interested in making Hoss a part of your family, please complete an adoption application today by going to our website  ##1955532##
