I know my cute face is hard to resist, but here's the scoop: I'll need a lot of your time and attention as I grow up into the amazing adult dog I'm destined to be! I'm looking for a forever family that will help me with socialization, training (yes, that includes house training!), and plenty of exercise. And let's not forget the chewing and teething-I'm still learning what's okay (and what's definitely not okay) to put in my mouth. So, be ready for some puppy-proofing! Don't forget those vet visits! I'll need to stay up to date on my boosters and vaccines, which means a few trips to see my favorite vet in the first few months. But trust me, all that effort will be worth it when you experience the endless love, puppy kisses, and pure joy I'll bring into your life. So, if you're up for the challenge and the fun, why not come meet me in person? Stop by during our adoption hours. For more details, email info@ahconnects.org or give us a call at 847-697-2880 x: 0. The friendly folks here will be happy to answer all your questions! Can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together! All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

This 2 years old quiet girl is about a 50 lb Heeler/Aussie mix with a calm, gentle nature. She walks nicely on a retractable leash, is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows sit and down. Good with other dogs (lives with 2 shihtzus) and loves everyone she meets. She can be a bit curious and may wander, so she’ll need to stay on leash or better in fenced yard. She’s a loving, low-key pup who’ll make a wonderful, loyal companion. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275.
