AVAILABLE SOON! I haven’t arrived at the adoption center just yet - I’m getting ready for adoption! Please fill out an adoption application if you’d like to meet me once I’m available. I'm 28 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! This handsome boy thrives when he has plenty of attention, activity, and mental stimulation to keep him happy.  He’s a smart pup who already knows commands like sit and stay, and he’s eager to keep learning. Rex would do best with an active home ready to give him the exercise and engagement he craves.  If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who’s always ready for adventure, Rex is your guy! Meet Doyle! He is a 1 year old true Aussie mix. He has had a rough start, but is a very sweet boy! As a true Aussie mix, he is super smart, loyal, affectionate and eager to please! He is crate trained, potty trained, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He does need supervision in the yard or someone with a 6 ft fence:) He is dog and cat friendly, loves ball, frisbee and men! He knows all of his basic commands, sit, down, settle, off and a great recall! He would do great with a basic obedience class, as he just wants to please his person. After a past leg injury, Mochi had a hind leg amputated -- but don't let that fool you! He runs, plays, and keeps up with the other dogs like a champ. Nothing slows this happy guy down.
