COURTESY POST: Sally isn't in HMF's care. We are posting her for another rescue. Sally is 3-4 year lab Australian shepherd mix who is a bundle of fun. She loves attention, playing with you, and going for walks. She has great has crate and leash manners. Sally is always excited to meet people and is food motivated. She is a VERY quick and eager learner and wants to please you. She seems to understand going potty outside. She knows the basic commands of sit and shake. Sally loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs and seems to be cat friendly. She is just a pleaser. Sally's forever home needs to have a fenced in yard with an active life-style or could just be a couch potato. Sally is just happy to be with you. Crimson is good with older children! No younger children or dogs, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with younger children and he attacks their other dog. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Crimson, please contact the owner listed below. Courtesy Post- Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Franklin, IN Meet Max! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 50 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Max is nervous around strangers! No dogs or young children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children or cats. His owner says he has some separation anxiety and will resource guard his food. Max bit the owner on the forearm after she tried to make him stop eating their other dog’s food. The owner is surrendering him because of this bite incident. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! He will need to get familiar with his new person's scent and voice to know they are near. Link is very fearful of other animals and would do best in a home with only adult humans and a fenced yard. He will always be a pup. Link has an amazing personality and is very loving, especially to those who give him belly rubs and food (his two favorite things). He knows his crate is a safe place and gets very comfortable. He loves to run and play in the yard. He will be some work for the right individual who can help him blossom. Cyprus is a 2yo male Kelpie that I pulled from a high kill shelter in SoCal. He has been with me since March and has been neutered and shots updated. He is a very sweet and loving boy who LOVES to play! Herding dog experience is also preferred, as he is a working breed and will not be content left to his own devices. Daily walks and games of fetch, as well as quality time with his people are a must. Cyprus has not been tested with cats, but his breed is known for high prey drive, so I would not recommend a home with small animals. He has also not been tested with small children. Due to his strength and playful nature, older children would be better suited. He is VERY smart and very trainable. I think he would be a wonderful sporting dog and would excel at agility or possibly dock diving. Cyprus also has a great off switch and loves to snuggle. He is great on the bed or in a crate for bedtime.
