He absolutely loves stuffy toys (especially the ones with squeakers!). Toss a ball, and you’ll see just how fast those puppy legs can go. He’s playful, silly, and guaranteed to keep you smiling. Dexter is also incredibly friendly. He adores people and gets along great with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for a social household. His sweet nature and wagging tail make fast friends wherever he goes.Because he’s still very much a puppy, Dexter would thrive in an active home that’s ready to embrace his energy and continue his training with patience and consistency. Story
Meet Buck! Buck is a 60lb, 8-year-old, Australian Shepherd who found his way to the shelter through no fault of his own, and he’s ready to start his next chapter with a loving family. This handsome boy still has plenty of pep in his step and a medium-to-high energy level, so he enjoys playtime, walks, and chances to stretch his legs.According to his previous owner, Buck is house trained and has experience living in a home. He does well with young to middle-aged children and has a friendly, social personality with other dogs—he’s the type who will happily invite other pups to play when he meets them.Buck can get a little worried when left alone for long periods and may experience some separation anxiety, so he’d do best with a family that can give him plenty of companionship and reassurance. He’s also not a fan of storms, and like many dogs, appreciates a safe, cozy place to relax when the weather gets loud.Overall, Buck is a loving, playful companion who just needs a second chance. With patience, attention, and a warm home, he’s sure to be a loyal best friend for years to come.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Story
Willow is around 2 years old. We love Willow but unfortunately we became tight on money and are forced to work more just to cover bills and are not able provide the home Willow needs. She is high energy and very friendly. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She does manage to escape our 4 foot tall chain link fence by jumping over it so she would do best in a home with a taller fence or someone who has time to walk her everyday. She always stays in the neighbor hood but I am worried she could be hit by a car as we live close to a main road. If we could afford to build a taller fence I would definitely keep Willow. She is due for her annual shots but unfortunately I cannot afford to take her to the vet right now. She is treated with a topical tick prevention monthly. Willow would be a great addition to a home with other high energy dogs and older children. She also would do very well on a farm or a home with land for her to run.

Story
We’ve had Wickett for the last 6 years. He has traveled many states with us and hiked many trails and has ran freely as a farm dog in between. We believe now at this stage of his life he would do best with an experienced family with no kids or kids that are older and can respect his space. Our son is in his toddler years and there is a lot of sporadic movements and food that puts him in difficult situations. He is friendly around our son and enjoys his pets when they are supervised. He is muzzle trained. Very sweet and loving dog. Wants to be with/near his people. Is very smart and food driven. Loves to chase squirrels/small animals and can jump 4ft fence. Meets new people best when he is outside in open space. Let him approach in his own time. Very protective of his space and area. He knows sit, stay, down, paw, touch. He has a dog brother for past 5 years and takes time being introduced to other dogs and animals.

Story
Ive had Scout since he was 8 weeks old. He will be 5 April 9th 2026. He can be a great dog for a kid free home, active home. Scout has had training with an e-collar. He is very toy motivated. He could play fetch all day if you let him. He is good with children after a certain height. We arent sure why he is afraid of toddlers. Scout knows an array of commands, and is very smart. He just doesn’t get the attention he needs in our home.

Story
Hi, I’m Scout! I’m four years old, and around 45 lbs. I LOVE playing fetch and playing with other dogs. I’m not super fond of kids around the same hight as me but I like playing with kids bigger than me! In 2024 I had a surgery to correct my patellar luxation, but I’m all better now! I would love to go home with someone active who likes being outside and playing fetch. I need to run!
