Meet Copper! Copper is 7 years old and is looking for a home with no small children and a calm environment. Copper is a velcro dog and loves to cuddle! He is a very sweet dog. He does okay with other dogs but would prefer to get all the attention. Unsure how he is with cats. Copper will make the perfect best friend! He weighs about 15 pounds. Potty trained. Up to date on all shots and neutered.

I got sweetie just a few months ago, from my elderly grandmother. Sweetie was her given name from my grandmother and it fits her. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves any attention she gets. Shes a big cuddler. We cannot keep her as we have a baby on the way and in the moving process. I would like to clarify the shot record section. I know my grandma had given her shots but I don’t know about “ up to date “

Information Coming Soon Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter. Previous adopters of AHRs have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee again. Donation of their choice is welcomed. Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a must. Story
Willow is around 2 years old. We love Willow but unfortunately we became tight on money and are forced to work more just to cover bills and are not able provide the home Willow needs. She is high energy and very friendly. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She does manage to escape our 4 foot tall chain link fence by jumping over it so she would do best in a home with a taller fence or someone who has time to walk her everyday. She always stays in the neighbor hood but I am worried she could be hit by a car as we live close to a main road. If we could afford to build a taller fence I would definitely keep Willow. She is due for her annual shots but unfortunately I cannot afford to take her to the vet right now. She is treated with a topical tick prevention monthly. Willow would be a great addition to a home with other high energy dogs and older children. She also would do very well on a farm or a home with land for her to run.

Her name is Athena Marie, she is a 5 year old Australian Sheppard/ pit mix, who secretly thinks she’s a lap dog! She is a very lovable dog, who gets along with children of all ages. She also gets along well with female dogs and any gender cat! She loves to play with toys, knows how to give paw and sit. Athena is house trained and would come supplied with a cage, leash, and harness, plus a food bowl. She is my sisters dog, but due to housing situations she can no longer take care of her, so I took her in hoping to find her a permanent home! But due to my own living situation and having 2 fur babies of my own I’m trying to find her a very loving family with room in their hearts for a very big baby!
