Story
Meet Toddy, a charming 3-year-old pup with a heart full of love. Toddy may not have had the easiest start, but he's a quick learner who's mastered many commands in Spanish. At 86 lbs, he's a big bundle of cuddles and, yes, he's even muzzle trained. Toddy's past life taught him to be wary of strangers, and he can be a bit reactive initially, but don't let that deter you. Once he gets to know you, he's a loyal and affectionate companion. Toddy is looking for a patient and understanding family who will take the time to introduce him to new friends slowly and with care. He's sure to steal your heart with his sweet nature, and he's ready to find his forever home with folks who are ready to cherish and protect him. If you're willing to invest the time and love, Toddy will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and devotion. Come meet Toddy today and see the magic he can bring into your life!

Story
Lucy is an active Mini American Shepherd mix, approximately 1 year old and ALL puppy!  She would make a great agility dog, or a dog for an active person. Her favorite toys are the disc and her ball. She loves fetch. She will need a fenced yard. I have no doubt she will follow you like a shadow once she is comfortable. She attaches to her human very quickly and craves attention. She would be better with a young dog who likes to play (a lot) or as an only dog. She was probably dumped and is now afraid of getting in the car, but she is getting better every day with short rides, knowing she is coming home. She has been around cats. She ignores my older cat, and probably would my younger one, if the cat would stop encouraging play! Lucy is an absolute sweetheart. If you are not knowledgeable about the breed, she is probably not the dog for you. If you are looking for an active dog that wants to be your best friend, then please apply for adoption.  Lucy is looking for her very own human. She has been spayed and microchipped and is up-to-date on all of her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $175.00. You can apply for Lucy online at www.4pups.org by clicking the Adopt button under her photo. ##1801248##

Story
We're excited to announce the adoption of Shadow, a wonderful dog, from the Humane Society. Shadow is affectionate and enjoys walks, chewing on bones, and staying close to his family. However, he has shown protective instincts and has reacted aggressively towards visitors. We are seeking a new home for him where his guarding tendencies will be valued and managed. Your help in spreading the word to find the perfect home for Shadow would be greatly appreciated.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Indianapolis, IN Meet Duggy! He is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 32 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to days on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Duggy will bark at strangers for a few minutes, but then gets excited. He is good with cats! No kids, due to his reactivity. He does well with the owner’s 2 female dogs, but hasn’t really been around male dogs. He will show some resource guarding and fear aggression. Duggy bit the owner a year ago, because her hands were in the crate. He also bit a teenager a year ago, after she tried to remove a toy from his mouth. He recently bit his owner’s boyfriend on 12/6 as a result of crate destruction, due to the rain. He was trying to fix the door on his kennel and Duggy bit him. The owner is surrendering him because he is very reactive, anxious, and territorial. He is afraid of storms and loud noises. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Duggy, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Duggy. Owner’s Contact Information: Gabrielle Price at (317) 610-1888 or gabbyprice0001@comcast.net.
