Story
This is Rusty, he’s a 9 month old border collie mix with what I believe is Australian shepherd. He’s truly one of the most loving dogs I have ever owned, and it’s extremely hard for me to find him a new owner but i’m left with no other choice, as I’m about to be a firefighter and going through a divorce. I know he deserves more than being trapped in a kennel alone for a majority of his day. He’s a very high energy furball and honestly he is a handful to deal with at times, but very worth it. He still needs some house training, when I adopted him he was just chained to a tree all day. But he’s gotten much better around the house over time, he still has accidents on occasion but he’s typically good at letting you know when he needs to go out. He’s is also kennel trained He’s very good with other dogs and loves to play. He would be extremely happy with a fenced in yard, as he loves to grab his ball and just zoom around

Story
Rowdy is stunningly beautiful and such a loving, easy-going guy. Anyone who meets him will fall in love with him. ⚠️ 🛑 Don't say we didn't warn ya! 🛑 ⚠️ He is a 2-year-old, under-40-pound Australian Shepherd with a luscious coat and gorgeous markings. Rowdy doesn’t quite live up to his name, because he is chill and adaptable – not at all a disruptive type. His foster family says he can be happy absolutely anywhere and will get along with anyone he meets. He comes when he’s called, and he knows sit and shake. He walks well on a leash, so you can pal around at home or around town. He peps up for playtime and likes to chase the ball, fling around a stuffie or settle in with a yummy chew toy. Pretty much, he likes whatever is going on and whomever he is with. He gets along well with other friendly dogs, and most of the time he listens to his people. There are some times he might not agree with your decision-making – like, when you have to go inside and do boring work when it’s a perfectly lovely day outside – but he’ll eventually relent and do what he is supposed to. Rowdy is just a wonderful dog buddy who wants to enjoy life with the people he loves. Could those people be you? He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he’ll come to you current on flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $175. Do you wish your life was more Rowdy? Story
🧠 Big brain alert! 🧠 And lucky for you, this big brain lives inside a very pretty boy 🐾named Tyson 🐾. He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, and is typical of this wonderful breed, looking for action and intellectual stimulation. He weighs about 60 pounds. Tyson is well trained and knows tons of commands, including: sit, stay, lay down and shake. He is also responsive to whistles, and he will wait until his command to eat his food. He walks fine on a leash and is crate trained and house trained. Show him or teach him what else you would like him to do, and he’ll be all about it. Tyson is affectionate and loving to his people, and he gets along well with kids. You’ll want to pet that beautiful coat of his, and he’ll be happy to let you! He’ll do best in an active home with people who will further this training and give him opportunities to do jobs and/or go on outings, to feed that bring brain of his. He gets along ok with female dogs, but Tyson is reactive to male dogs. He should live in a cat-free home, as well. So if you want a boy who will keep you busy and keep you thinking on your feet, Tyson absolutely is your guy. No need for other dogs around when you have Tyson to play with and train. Tyson is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as current on preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick. His adoption fee is $175. To meet Tyson, get approved to adopt, and his foster will contact you to set up a meeting. Apply today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐾 George DOB: 6 weeks old Current weight: 6.4 lbs (3/01) Breed: Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix (best guess) Estimated adult size: ~25–30 lbs George is one of the smaller boys in the group, but don’t let that fool you — he keeps up just fine. He has that softer, spaniel-style expression paired with alert, curious eyes that are always taking everything in. He’s playful, people-focused, and already showing that smart herding-dog curiosity. George enjoys exploring, following his humans around, and wrestling with his siblings. He’s the kind of pup who will bond closely with his family. As an Aussie mix, George will thrive in a home ready for structure, enrichment, and continued training. He’s young and still learning all the basics — potty routines, crate training, and leash skills. ✔️ Playful and observant ✔️ People-oriented ✔️ Medium energy puppy ✔️ Likely 25–30 lbs grown George is ready to grow up with a family who wants an active, engaged companion.
