Story
It's with a heavy heart that we are seeking to rehome our Australian Shepherd, kazuto. Unfortunately, due to an incident where he bit our baby, we have to make the difficult decision to find him a new family that can provide the right environment and attention he needs. Kazuto is an incredibly loving dog with lots of energy and a big heart. He’s four years old, enjoys cuddles, and is a very anxious boy. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, house-trained, has lived with a cat since he was a puppy, and knows basic commands. We believe that in the right home, with proper attention, he will thrive. We are looking for someone with a child free home who can offer a loving, safe space where he can continue to be a happy, well-loved dog. If you're interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please message me for more details.

Story
🐾 Ozzie — The Playful, Toy-Loving Entertainer Ozzie is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a big personality, a big heart, and a fluffy tail that never stops wagging. He loves people, enjoys attention, and will gladly be your playful shadow. Ozzie knows basic commands, wrestles happily with friendly dogs, and is an expert at fetch—especially catching toys out of the air. He can be protective of his high-value items (toys, treats, food), so a home familiar with resource guarding would be best. He’s kennel trained, very well-behaved when left alone, and thrives on play and connection. Ozzie and his brother Bowie grew up together, play beautifully together, and truly enjoy each other’s company. They would love to be adopted together, but it isn’t required—they can also succeed independently in homes suited to their needs. Ozzie’s Ideal Home: ✔ Adults or families who understand resource guarding ✔ A playful home ready for fetch, fun, and training ✔ A friendly dog companion—preferably not toy-possessive ✔ Could be adopted with his brother Bowie or independently If you want a fun, affectionate dog who will keep you smiling, Ozzie just might be your perfect match. 🖤🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! We’ll help you find the right match. All of our dogs are adoption-ready and come: •️ Spayed or neutered •️ Heartworm tested •️ Dewormed •️ Up-to-date on prevention medications •️ Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines •️ Microchipped •️ With a coupon for a free Simply Dub collar from Dubdog Designs

Story
🐾 Bowie — The Happy, Velcro Aussie Mix Bowie is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of sunshine. This sweet, tail-wagging boy loves nothing more than being close to his humans. If you want a loyal shadow who radiates joy, Bowie is your guy. Friendly and eager to please, Bowie already knows basic commands like sit and down. He’s mostly quiet, though he may join in if another dog is barking. He’s learning not to jump up for affection but redirects quickly—he really just wants to make you happy. Bowie is kennel trained, well-behaved when left alone, and loves being in the company of people. Bowie and his brother Ozzie have lived their entire lives together and play wonderfully as a pair. They would love to be adopted together, though it’s not required—they can also thrive separately in the right homes. Bowie’s Ideal Home: ✔ A family who enjoys lots of companionship ✔ Someone eager to continue light manners training ✔ A home that appreciates a loving, people-oriented dog ✔ Could be adopted with his brother Ozzie or on his own If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle boy ready to follow you anywhere, Bowie is ready for his new beginning. 💛 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet PeBo – A Gentle Senior Aussie Mix 💙 PeBo is a sweet 10-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and a lifetime of love to give. Recently surrendered through no fault of his own, this senior boy is hoping to find a warm foster or forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort and care. PeBo is housetrained, well-mannered, and enjoys the company of people. He would do best in a home with adults only and a calm environment. When treated with courtesy and patience, PeBo is affectionate, easygoing, and happy to be by your side. He loves exploring a yard, enjoys outdoor time, and walks nicely on leash with a little guidance. He has always done well with other dogs, especially with polite introductions, and he has proven how amicably he can coexist with kitties, too! PeBo doesn’t need a crate and does well when left alone. He’s calm, loyal, and thrives in a peaceful home where he can be part of daily life without too much fuss. Seniors like him deserve comfort, love, and family — and he’ll give it back tenfold. If you can offer a gentle, respectful home where PeBo’s needs as an older dog are honored, he’ll reward you with endless devotion. Could you be the one to give PeBo his second chance? P.S. PeBo is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know him in your home before finalizing the adoption. It’s a great way to ensure the perfect fit! ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Daisy is a 5 year old Australian shepherd. She has been with our family since she was a puppy. Daisy loves affection, she loves attention, and she is a very playful dog. She needs a fenced yard to run around in and does even better if she gets a daily walk but doesn't necessarily need it. She has grown up with another dog in our home and they get along well, although Daisy gets very jealous if our other dog is getting more attention than her. Daisy definitely likes to be the Queen of the home! Daisy does like to alert you (aka bark) when anyone comes to the door, she will also bark for the first few minutes after a new person comes in your home. Once she makes friends, she settles right in for some belly rubs. We are searching for a new home for Daisy because we are about to be empty-nesters and want to travel more. We don't feel its fair to her to put her in boarding for extended amounts of time. We just want to find a great home who will love her like we do!

Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with stunning brown, white, and tan markings. She came to us after her original family was no longer able to care for her, and she has been settling beautifully into her foster home. Hazel is housebroken and crate trained, and she sleeps quietly in her crate through the night. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with just a little time and patience she opens up and shows her sweet, affectionate side. True to her Aussie roots, Hazel is a high-energy girl who would love an active home and would especially enjoy having a dog friend of similar size to romp and play with. She currently weighs around 60 pounds and could stand to trim down a bit with exercise and play. Hazel is loving, loyal, and ready to find a forever family who understands and appreciates her smart, energetic nature. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. If you have other dogs in your home, we require that they meet our dog prior to adoption. 💲 Adoption fee: $225 📍 Once you apply, the foster will contact you to schedule a meet and greet. 👉 Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog
