We're guessing on Rocky's breed mix, we have a DNA test pending! He seems to exhibit traits from both breeds. Rocky is a medium sized boy at 44 lbs. He is an awesome boy, loving and affectionate, he got to his foster home and settled in quicky. He's good with cats and other dogs and children over 10. He would make a wonderful companion for a family wanting a good boy to love. We'll update his info as we know more, but don't wait if you'd like this boy to be your new best friend. Rocky is being fostered in Elkton, MD An application and home visit are required before a meet and greet. Our application can be found on our website www.ncsr-md.org. Fenced yard required.

She understands responsibility. She understands teamwork. She understands that somebody has to keep things moving in the right direction — and she is more than happy to volunteer. Through no fault of her own, Emma was surrendered in a small town and sat patiently at the pound for months. Just waiting. Watching other dogs leave. Hoping her turn would come. And we made sure it did — because a girl this special and with this much heart deserves more than a kennel and a concrete floor. Emma is incredibly sweet and walks beautifully on a leash. Pan loves the company of other stable dogs, and is devoted and affectionate to humans who are willing to give her space and allow Pan to figure them out and build trust.******Pan will need an experienced home, and other dog(s) to help her become more confident and trusting of strangers.Pan has the genetic ability to be and do nearly anything a human partner could possibly want, but her upbringing and lack of training has left holes that will need to be filled. From everything we can see, the journey will be entirely worth it. Pan recently met a stranger (to her) and was well behaved, engaging, and allowed handling (including feet!).*****Meet Pan! Pan is going to need a patient and confident home with another confident dog. She was not raised in an environment which allowed her to gain self confidence or courage. Pan has been in our care only a few days but has already made tremendous progress. Pan is great with other dogs but is currently reactive and fearful of other people. She will be going through some training here until we feel she is ready for, (and we find her) the perfect forever home.Pan is located in Maryland, and weighs appx 45 lbs.
