Story
These ladies are STILL looking for their forever homes! DNA attached!! Close to small breed!!! At 4 months old, these ladies are low riders and will stay on the smaller side. They are social, sweet, and love kids and other dogs (not cat tested). They have the softest fur and are the perfect lap size. They are content staying in and don't need a large yard (though dog parks would be fun) They can be leash walked and also don't require a fenced (if leashed of course). These pups are spayed, microchipped, have all 3 parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and are UTD on monthly preventatives. To add one to your family, please send us a detailed application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com! Foster location: Abingdon, MD

Story
Leila 6 month old SMALL side of medium / low riders Mini American Shepherd Mix Leila is available for adoption!! This sweet little lady has been a little difficult for us to adopt out. She has been with us since 6 weeks old, and is very shy meeting new people. She also doesn't do well in public. HOWEVER.... Give her 2 mins in your home, away from people she knows, and she will be doing parkour off of you and be your best friend. She is SWEET. She is CUDDLY. She is SMART. She is WELL BEHAVED. She LOVES other dogs. Leila can be head shy (but not aggressive), and therefore be with older kids that can respect boundaries. She leaves older dogs alone. Would likely leave cats alone. And plays with the ones that want to play. She potties outside, comes back in when called, and loves to be around people. Due to her shyness, we would bring Leila to your house. This house must be local to Harford County, MD or a surrounding county. If the meeting went well and you plan to adopt her, we would simply leave her there. For context, we sent her to a brand new foster home last weekend for some socialization and within minutes she had settled and made best friends with everyone. Leila is spayed, 100% vaccinated, micro hipped, UTD on monthly preventatives...everything. ahenis just waiting on someone to give her a chance. Please send us a detailed application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com

Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 June 12, 2025, 10:11 am
