Story
If you’re looking for a pup who brings sunshine wherever she goes, look no further than Mercy! This December 4th-born Aussie mix girl is bursting with personality and love. Mercy has an outgoing, happy spirit and a gentle sweetness that makes her irresistible. She’s the kind of puppy who will greet you with full-body wiggles, enthusiastic tail wags, and plenty of puppy kisses. Mercy loves people — big and small. She would thrive in a home with kids who want a playful companion, but she’d also be perfectly content soaking up all the love in an adult-only home. As long as she’s adored, she’s happy! She gets along beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home and would likely enjoy having a four-legged best friend. While she hasn’t been around cats yet, her friendly temperament suggests she could adjust with proper introductions. Fully grown, Mercy will be about 40–45 pounds — the perfect size for hiking trails, backyard playtime, and cozy movie nights. Mercy isn’t just looking for a home — she’s ready to become someone’s heart dog. Could that someone be you?         PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 1, 2026, 11:26 pm

Story
Maylene entered the world on December 4th, the smallest of her Aussie mix siblings — and she has never once let that slow her down. In fact, she has embraced her role as the baby of the family with full confidence. If Maylene had a motto, it would be: “All eyes on me.”   This little girl believes she was born to shine. She carries herself with the charming confidence of a pup who knows she is adored and fully expects that adoration to continue. Step aside, world — Maylene is here.   She loves her toys, especially when she can turn playtime into a spirited game of “keep away” with her sisters. She’s playful, bright, and full of personality. In her foster home, she gets along wonderfully with the other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion. She hasn’t had the chance to meet cats yet, but her adaptable nature suggests she would likely adjust with proper introductions.   When fully grown, Maylene will be around 40 pounds — the perfect size for a family looking for a loyal sidekick with just the right amount of sass and sweetness.   Now all she needs is a family who recognizes the sparkle in her eyes and the confidence in her little strut — a family who understands that this baby girl already knows she’s special… and is ready to treat her like the treasure she is.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 28, 2026, 11:20 pm

Story
Meet Marielle — the quiet spark with the soulful eyes and the heart just waiting to shine. Born on December 4th, this stunning Aussie mix girl is the perfect blend of softness and spirit. At first glance, you’ll notice her gentle, observant nature. She’s the kind of puppy who studies you carefully, tilts her head just slightly, and takes a moment to decide if you’re “her person.” But once she does? Game over. You belong to her forever.  Marielle isn’t the life-of-the-party puppy crashing through the room — she’s the one who forms deep, meaningful bonds. She thrives in a home where love is steady and predictable. A loud, chaotic household with lots of tiny, fast-moving humans may feel overwhelming to her sensitive soul. But a family with a couple of older, kind-hearted kids who understand patience? That would be her sweet spot. In her foster home, Marielle enjoys the company of other dogs and clearly gains confidence from them. A friendly canine sibling could be the perfect role model and built-in best friend. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her calm, thoughtful personality suggests she would likely adapt just fine with slow introductions and guidance. When fully grown, Marielle should be around 40 pounds — a wonderful medium size that’s big enough for outdoor adventures and small enough to curl up in your lap when she thinks you’re not looking. And trust us, she will try to curl up in your lap. This precious girl doesn’t need the whole world. She just needs her world — a patient heart, a cozy spot to land, and someone willing to see the beauty in a shy beginning. Give her that, and you’ll watch her blossom into the most loyal, loving companion you could ever imagine.   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  She is currently fostered in Nashville, TN and we adopt locally and also transport to the northeastern region/states.        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 27, 2026, 9:01 pm

Story
When you picture the perfect family companion, you imagine a puppy who has been loved from the very beginning — one who knows what gentle hands feel like and believes hugs are one of life’s greatest gifts. That puppy is Scoop.   Scoop is one of eleven lucky puppies who have been raised in the devoted care of a foster home since the day they were born. Because of that steady love, he is blossoming into the most wonderful little guy. He doesn’t just tolerate affection — he melts into it. Scoop is learning that the world is full of people who want to scoop him up (and yes, his name fits perfectly) and he absolutely loves every minute of it.   Those deeply soulful eyes will stop you in your tracks. They seem to study you, connect with you, and then quietly say, “Are you my person?” His soft black-and-white tuxedo coat is as touchable as it looks, and as he grows, it will develop into a semi-long, flowing coat that gives him a handsome, almost classic Lassie-style look. He is going to be a stunning 35–40 pound Aussie mix boy when fully grown — the perfect size for both adventure and couch cuddles.   But Scoop isn’t just a pretty face. He is brave. When he encounters something new that he doesn’t quite understand, he doesn’t panic — he works through it. Case in point: stairs. They were once a big, scary mystery. Now? He proudly marches down them every single day like a champ, and we couldn’t be prouder of his determination and growing confidence.   When it’s playtime, Scoop gives it everything he has. He romps, he wrestles, he zooms — and he plays until he drops. Then comes the best part: cuddle time. He is becoming more and more comfortable soaking up hugs, leaning into affection, and simply being someone’s baby. As he matures, that bond with his people will only grow stronger.   Scoop will be ready for his forever home in March, and he is looking for a family who is ready to invest in him — to teach him manners, guide him with patience, and help him grow into the incredible family dog he is destined to be. He is smart, not overly shy, eager to learn, and full of heart.   This boy won’t just join your family — he will be a gift to it.   If you’re ready to welcome Scoop into your life, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 2, 2026, 4:29 pm

Story
If you’ve been waiting for that “heart dog” — the one who looks at you like you are their whole world — Sprite might just be your girl. From the very start, Sprite has been surrounded by love. Born into a litter of eleven puppies on December 4th and raised safely in a devoted foster home, she has known gentle hands, warm beds, and daily affection. That strong foundation shows in everything she does. She trusts. She bonds. She lives like an independent little girl that loves to be picked up and hugged for short times and then it's time to get down and go run to play. Sprite is the kind of puppy who melts when you pick her up and presses her soft little body into you as if he’s memorizing the feeling. Every day she is discovering that hugs are wonderful, that laps are safe places, and that people are meant to be adored. And adore them she does. Her deep, expressive eyes are impossible to ignore — full of curiosity, intelligence, and sweetness. Her white longish fur sprinkled with large black spots that create some fun visuals like a little sweet heart on the top of her head. Her black-and-white soft longish coat makes her look like she’s dressed for a special occasion every single day. As she grows, that coat will become a slightly longer, soft, flowing version that gives her a classic, almost storybook-Aussie look. At maturity, she’ll be about 35–40 pounds — a perfect medium-sized Aussie mix ready for hikes, road trips, backyard games, and evening snuggles. Sprite is playful and enthusiastic when it’s time for fun. She romps with siblings, plays hard, and truly gives it her all. Then, just as quickly, she’s ready to curl up and recharge with a cuddle session. It’s the best of both worlds — joyful energy and tender affection wrapped into one beautiful package.   What’s especially endearing about Sprite is her independence and curiosity. New experiences don’t stop her. Stairs once seemed confusing and intimidating, but with patience and encouragement, she conquered them — and now she proudly heads down them every day. That determination and willingness to learn will serve her beautifully as she grows into adulthood. She will be ready for adoption early in March and is looking for a family who understands that great dogs are shaped, not just found. With continued guidance, structure, and love, Sprite will blossom into an exceptional family companion. She is smart, responsive, and eager to connect with her people and a shy and gentle way. She has a shy side that is thoughtful — and that balance makes her such a special little soul. Sprite won’t just fill space in your home. She’ll fill your days with laughter, your evenings with warmth, and your heart with something steady and true. If you’re ready to welcome this incredible little girl into your life, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell us where you live; city and state.  She is fostered in Tennessee but we also adopt to the northeast on a certified transport van for rescued animals.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 26, 2026, 11:08 pm

Story
Eleven pounds of fluff, freckles, and fabulous mischief — Molly has arrived. At just 8 weeks old, this speckled-nose country girl is equal parts charm and chaos (the very best kind). Molly started her life tucked inside a hay bale in rural Virginia, where her devoted mama kept her and her siblings safe and well-loved. Thanks to that amazing start, Molly is wonderfully socialized, friendly, and ready to take on the world — preferably your living room first. She’s spunky, bright, and already showing off her quick-learner skills. Toys? Yes. Snuggles? Absolutely. Investigating absolutely everything? Without hesitation. Molly will need a home where someone is around to help her perfect her potty training and continue building all those good puppy habits. She’s smart and eager — she just needs a consistent teammate. If you’re ready for fluffy kisses, tiny zoomies, and a lifelong best friend who began her story in a hay bale but plans to end it on your couch… Molly is your girl. 🐾 The adoption fee for this puppy is $475, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
