Harley has been an amazing part of our family and we absolutely love her. We began fostering her about a year ago. She is 7 and will turn 8 in September. Our schedules have recently changed and we are rarely home so Harley has been spending more time in her crate than we feel is fair, and we would love to find her a home where she can get the attention and activity she deserves. Harley would do great with a somewhat active family, especially with kids. She is very friendly, gentle, and loving. She may bark when someone comes to the door or when meeting someone new, but she settles down quickly. Our 7-year-old can walk her independently. Harley has stayed with two pet sitters (one with another dog) and did very well. Health-wise, she had two UTIs this past year. Our vet said this can be common for her breed as she approaches menopause, and antibiotics cleared it both times. Otherwise she is healthy. Harley comes with a cage, food for a month, bags, beds and other items!

Molly is a 2-year-old mini Aussie mix who weighs around 19 lbs. Molly came into rescue as a stray and is the sweetest little girl. She just wants a lap to sit in. Molly does get attached pretty quick and does not like to share with other dogs. She will need to be fed away from other dogs because she is protective of her food. Molly walks well on a leash and is potty trained to go outside. Molly is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. Story

“Otis the Adventurer” Otis is a handsome 3-year-old Aussie mix with a sweet heart and a curious spirit. We know his mom was an Australian Shepherd, and while Dad remains a mystery, Otis definitely inherited the intelligence and loyalty that make this breed so special. At around 45–50 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion. Otis is the kind of dog who makes living with a dog easy. He is house trained, well-mannered, and respectful as he lives inside the home—no chewing furniture, stealing food, or getting into trouble. He’s calm for an Aussie, incredibly sweet-natured, and great with kids. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family and enjoy life alongside his people. He also gets along very well with other dogs, so he would likely thrive in a home with a canine buddy to share adventures with. Recently after moving from his previous home, he found himself living without a privacy fenced yard. Otis does have one little quirk—he’s an explorer at heart. If given the opportunity, he’d happily set off to see what the world has to offer! Because of that adventurous streak, a privacy fenced yard is important to keep him safe while he enjoys his outdoor time. Currently he gets out of the non-privacy fenced yard and it is dangerous for him. His family is worried but they cannot afford to do the proper fencing that he needs. So.....they asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to help them find him a safe and secure home with the inescapable fence. We are just looking for the home that Otis can thrive in safely. Otis is a well-mannered dog just looking for a home where he can be loved, included, and kept safe while still enjoying the fresh air and sunshine he loves. In return, you’ll get a loyal, gentle, well-behaved companion who will happily spend his days by your side. We think he is the best choice for a family not wanting a puppy who is in the chewing and puppy antic stage of life.
