Story
I have a beautiful Australian Shepherd puppy. Her name is Charlotte she is 8 months old. I’m looking to rehome her because at this time she needs so much more attention, love and time I’m not able to give her. Reason why is my mom was in remission for a while but now her Cancer is back, so I’m having to take care of her and both my teenage kids. She is extremely smart and a true sweetheart. She gets along with cats, dogs plus kids as well! If you are interested in having her please let me know. Thanks

Story
Meet ZaZu – Your New Best Friend! *Located in Mooresville, NC *Adoption Fee: $425 *Fostered through Australian Shepherds Furever ZaZu is a two-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as his beautiful black-tri coat! This sweet and spirited boy is looking for his forever home where he can be both your adventure buddy and your snuggle partner. True to his breed, ZaZu is an active, intelligent pup who thrives with physical and mental stimulation. He walks beautifully on a leash, loves to run, and gets a huge kick out of herding his favorite big ball around the yard. When playtime’s over, he’s more than happy to cuddle up in your lap (yes—he thinks he’s a lap dog!) and soak up the affection. ZaZu is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. While he’s comfortable in his crate, he does best in a home where he’s not crated for long hours. We leave him out of his crate when we are at work and he does just fine. He also sleeps soundly outside of his crate at night and likes to snuggle in bed. ZaZu gets along wonderfully with other dogs—he’s especially fond of his foster brother, Chief—and would love a home with a doggy sibling or two. He would also do just fine as your one and only, as long as he gets the attention and activity he craves. Due to his energy level, a home with older children is ideal. ZaZu is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. If you’re an active family or individual looking for a loyal companion with a great mix of energy and affection, ZaZu might just be your perfect match. Come meet this amazing boy and let him show you just how special he is! Meet and greets are required. Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furver family.

Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 27, 2025, 10:05 pm

Story
This handsome boy is called Cooper and he is a young one year, 55 pound male Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix who is gorgeous and goofy.  This boy was formerly owned by a person who let him run loose (unsafe) and he was getting in to trouble on neighbors properties as he hung out at the chicken coop and he got in to trash cans just for fun.  Cooper just wanted to have something to do!  A job ya know?  He is such a loving boy and he really is good with other dogs and adores people.  He is not cat tested but can be if needed. As you can see he needs a little spiffing up with some groomer which will happen soon.  He is a deep rich mahogany color and has the softest, long wavy fur that just makes you want to sit and pet him for a while. Cooper with all his energy and desire to do things fun, needs a fenced yard and maybe just maybe you could offer him kids and another dog to occupy hours of fun and playtime.  He is smart as he is handsome.  Learning leash manners and he is willing to obey if you do the practice every day for a while.  This boy loves life and you will love Cooper.   If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 5, 2025, 12:03 pm
