Kasey is what we would consider petite.  She is likely an Australian Shepherd mix---and we are uncertain what the exact mix is.  Kasey is 21lbs and most likely will not get any bigger.  She walks ok on leash, loves attention, is mildly playful and enjoys some toys.  She will need basic obedience training and likely housetrained.  She does have accidents in her kennel area when we are not here to allow her out.  She reacts fine to other dogs but will need to meet any new potential housemate prior to adoption being approved. We do not know how she is with cats or children (she met a cat briefly at the vet when we were there and was curious but not forceful). Hiya! My name is Sally and I’m a mixture of sugar and spice and everything nice 🎀 I’m new to the shelter and I hope I won’t be here long. Maybe you’ll consider adopting me? Let me tell you all the reasons why you should. I’m a young lady (around 8 months old) but don’t let my age deter you because I’m also very smart. I’m an Australian Shepard mix. My breed has all of the best qualities - they say I’m intelligent, loyal, energetic, athletic and easygoing (wow I’m a catch if I do say so myself). I’m around 34 pounds and I probably won’t get much bigger. I’m medium in size but my heart is larger than life. I really enjoy playing in the yard and exercising but I do love winding down after my playtime. I love meeting new people and getting pets and snuggles from everyone!!! I’m a good listener too and I learn very quickly. I’m smart and sassy. As much as I love it here, I’d love a home to call my own and warm bed to rest my pretty head. If you think you might be a good fit for me please come and meet me during adoption hours. I think I’d do well with some furry siblings too! If you have any in your home please bring them to meet me as well. They say we need to do a meet and greet to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone! Stay sweet -Sally 🎀🐾 The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30pm-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
