Moose is an older Australian shepherd/boarder collie. He is a very lovable and a great companion. Moose is VERY anxious and does not do well with new people, fast movements with new people. He is food aggressive with other dogs but also food focused with reward. The reason we need to rehome is my wife and I are expecting and given his age, and time we have to adjust, we dont think we can give him the success he needs. Truly, he is an incredible guard dog that ive had since he was a young pup. This decision is not an easy one but truly he will be incredible anyone that has the time.

Sweet 1 1/2 year old Amy is in the market for a new loving home and would prefer a more quiet laid back setting. She is 38 lbs of a perfect mix of australian shepherd (her dad) and boxer/pit mix (her mom). A single lady would be prefered as she's not quite sure of men yet, but we are sure could learn to love them too? She did spend the first 6 months of her life in a pen outside with her littermates, so she is a bit shy and awkward. Once in a new home, she is loving and a loyal velcro pooch. Amy has completed a 6 week training course. No children please, as she was adopted and returned due to her being afraid of littles! Amy can jump around a lot and play r (with people and other dogs) so she is not a good fit for seniors or people with small dogs. She is freat in her crste while you are at work. She rarely barks. Luna is a beautiful 4-year-old Australian Shepherd who came to us as a 1-year-old rescue. She is a happy, loving girl who almost always has a smile on her face! Luna loves being outdoors—swimming, running, exploring and herding animals. She currently lives on our 20-acre farm with three other Aussies and loves having plenty of room to roam. Unfortunately, Luna has recently started targeting one of our other dogs. Because we cannot risk either dog getting hurt, we have made the very difficult decision to find her a new home. We would love for Luna to go to a home with land or plenty of room to run and enjoy the outdoors. Our priority is finding the RIGHT home for her, not just any home. Luna will be deeply missed. Meet Sheik, a beautiful Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog mix who is ready to find a family to call her own. Sheik just turned 1 year old on October 17. She weighs 37 pounds. Sheik came to us with her brother, MJ, after their owner fell on hard times. Through no fault of their own, these pups are now looking for a fresh start and a place where they can truly belong.Sheik is a little more mellow and independent than her brother, MJ. While he may be the more playful one, Sheik has her own special charm. She enjoys getting outside for walks and playing with toys, and once she has a chance to settle in, we believe she`ll show off more of her lovely personality. The shelter can be an overwhelming place for dogs, especially young ones, so we think Sheik has so much potential to blossom in a comfortable, loving home.Sheik is still young and will need some patience and guidance as she continues learning the ropes, including working on her housetraining and leash-walking skills. We expect her to have a higher energy level in a home environment, though she may be a bit more laid-back than her brother. She previously lived with children and did well. She has not been exposed to cats, so we don`t yet know how she would do with feline friends. Another well-matched dog could be a nice companion for her, but Sheik may also appreciate having space to enjoy her own independence.Sheik is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program. This means you can welcome her into your home while she completes her remaining veterinary care, including her spay, vaccinations, heartworm disease testing, and microchipping.Are you ready to give this sweet girl the chance she deserves? With a little patience, love, and understanding, Sheik could blossom into a wonderful companion.
