Story
Some names just fit, and Atlas is one of them. Just like the mighty Titan who carried the world, Atlas has a larger-than-life presence that’s impossible to ignore. At only 5 months old (born 1/11/26) and already 38 pounds, this handsome boy is destined to grow into a stunning, powerful companion—likely reaching 75 pounds or more as an adult.  Atlas inherited his gorgeous looks from his purebred Australian Shepherd mom, and we suspect his dad was a Husky or Malamute, giving him his striking appearance, sturdy build, and those adorably oversized paws. Everywhere he goes, people stop to admire him. But Atlas isn’t just a handsome face—he has an equally wonderful personality. He’s a happy, playful puppy who loves every dog he meets, regardless of size or age. He’s also great with cats and absolutely adores children, making him an excellent candidate for an active family looking for a loyal best friend. Like any growing puppy, Atlas has a big appetite, an even bigger zest for life, and an eagerness to learn. He loves treats, making training both fun and rewarding, and his foster family says he’s always eager to please. With continued guidance, he’ll grow into an incredible lifelong companion. Because Atlas will be a large, energetic dog, we’re looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and stretch those long legs. Atlas is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and ready for his forever family. All that’s missing is someone to love him as much as he’ll love them in return. Could that be you? Atlas is waiting in Tennessee, packed and ready to hop aboard the transport van heading north to meet the family he’s been dreaming of. If you’d like to give this extraordinary boy the home he deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at  ccrnewengland@gmail.com for more information. Big dog. Big heart. Big future. Atlas is ready to make your world complete.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 1:23 pm

Story
This little darling is called Mini Pearl and she is as spunky and funny as the real Minnie Pearl was back in the days of the 70's and 80's where she was the Queen of Country Comedy.  Little Mini Pearl is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who lost her owner when she passed away. Several other small breed dogs were left behind and have all found homes.  Mini Pearl is just 2-3 years old and 13 pounds and spicy and with a darling kick to her personality. She has the big personality in the tiny little body. She is housebroken, crate trained and a little intimidated by large dogs. A very normal reaction from a tiny little girl and normal with small breed dogs that are her size.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 1:23 pm

Story
Nola is one of those strikingly beautiful dogs that creates an emotion of wanting to hug her, pet her and to get to know her.  She makes it easy for all humans to approach her and become friends.  This 2 year old Aussie Mix girl weights 77 pounds and she is a girl who makes herself right at home when she knows she is invited to stay.  She was found as a stray in a small town in rural Tennessee and no history is known of her past.  As she stayed at the small shelter for a month (summers are brutal in this small town with few adopting visitors) she exhibited no tension from all the drama and barking that surrounded her from other dogs.  Shelters are stressful but Nola stayed calm as a summer cucumber!  She is a girl that needs some polishing.  She is pretty much housebroken but need to know the lay of a home and the schedule that she will need to go out for potty breaks.  She is easy to enjoy and have around. Pretty good on a leash too!.  Crate training is a bit of a mystery at this point.  We do not think that a home where she is crated for 9 hours daily would be advisable.  A fenced yard is of great benefit to her a dog like her.  The breed needs exercise and is not an apartment couch potato for long hours.   Walks and backyard hangout time is of great advantage for her.  Nola is a healthy girl with so much to give and of course she is ready to take as much love as a family can give.   If you are interested in this beauty please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We can and will respond quickly.  She can be transported from Nashville, TN where she is staying, up to the northeastern states or just be adopted locally.  If you think you have the right place in life for this girl please email quickly or text 615-661-5333   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 1:23 pm

Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.

Story
Ollie by Golly is the kind of puppy who makes people smile the moment they meet him.   This handsome mostly Australian Shepherd boy has a soft semi-long coat, beautiful eyes, and a gentle personality that is hard to find. Ollie does have limited vision on his left side because his left eye is genetically smaller than his right, but it does not slow him down one bit. His veterinarian says he is comfortable, doing great, and does not need any surgery. Ollie has learned to navigate the world just fine and is full of confidence, curiosity, and puppy joy.   He is a sweet, easygoing little guy who is incredibly gentle with a 3-year-old toddler in his foster home. He also does wonderfully with older children, adults, and people he meets. Ollie has no fearfulness and no rough edges to his personality—just a soft heart and a happy spirit.   When he is not cuddling near his people, Ollie is busy doing important puppy things: chasing bubbles, watching butterflies, sniffing every inch of the yard, playing fetch, wrestling gently with his dog friends, and joining in on the morning zoomies. He may even decide a bullfrog is worth investigating if one happens to cross his path.   Ollie has been in foster care for three weeks and has already blossomed into such a happy, loving boy. His foster mom has been delighted to watch his personality shine brighter every day. He would love a home with children, another playful dog, or simply people who want a loyal little companion close by.   If you are looking for a puppy who is handsome, gentle, playful, and wonderfully special, Ollie by Golly may be your perfect match. Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more. Please include your city and state. Ollie is fostered in Tennessee, and adoption is available in Tennessee as well as throughout the Northeastern corridor with weekly transport.
