Story
Hi there, I’m King! I’m an incredibly sweet guy and am excited about finding my forever home. While my past is unknown, my foster mom doesn't think it was a very happy one. I can be a little timid at first but I warm up quickly to my sweet, playful self! I’m potty-trained and crate-trained. I LOVE going outside on walks or runs and I am awesome on a leash - I rarely pull unless I am trying to say "hi" to another dog. My foster mom thinks I’ll do best with someone who has a yard or access to outdoor space where I can run around! I am still learning basic commands and would really appreciate a patient teacher! I do great with other dogs and I LOVE to snuggle! I can’t wait to meet you!!

Story
Charlie is a mini Australian Shepherd (33 lbs./7 yrs old) loving dog, house trained, indoor pet and walks well with harness. He has anxiety towards strangers & unknown dogs that try to pet him (will growl/snip at them to keep their distance). As long as a dog or stranger doesn't invade his personal space he is fine. He's been to dog parks & playgrounds where he enjoys sitting & observing, doesn't care to play with other dogs. He needs to slowly be introduced to strangers, however once he is familiar he is loyal & protective. He loves riding in cars and going to beer gardens & coffee shops, very well behaved as long as a stranger doesn’t try to pet him. He would be great with an owner who has a yard, but he is an indoor dog, doesn't care for long walks. Does not like being groomed. He's a smart dog who deserves an owner who has time/patience w/him. I love Charlie but believe a good loving family would be best for him since I don't have time to take care of him.

Story
Rex and his sister Malia were left at an animal clinic in northwest Houston, Texas months ago. Sadly, the clinic has learned that his owners have left the country with no intent of returning. Rex is a bit shy when meeting new people but warms up when he feels safe. He has formed sweet bonds with the clinic staff and is calm, gentle and comfortable in their care. But he would love to find his forever home with people who are patient and have time to spend with him. If you would like to meet Rex to see if he might be a good fit for your family, please call the clinic at (xxx) xxx-xxxx to learn more about him or schedule a meet and greet. Rex is ready to find a loving home where he can enjoy his senior years.

Story
I adopted this sweet boy about a year ago from a shelter in Page, Arizona. He’s a 3.5-year-old Miniature American Shepherd — smart, loyal, and full of love. He weighs around 26 pounds and is the perfect size for adventure or companionship. We’ve shared great memories: hiking, camping, and boating. He knows several tricks, learns quickly, and loves being active and involved. Since moving to Houston, I haven’t been able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He doesn’t do well being left alone for long and needs a home where someone can be with him more often. He’s affectionate, playful, and eager to bond. He’d thrive in a home where he’s part of daily life — whether it’s outdoor fun, training, or just relaxing together. If you or someone you know can offer him a loving and committed home, please reach out. He has so much love to give.

Story
Charlotte (Char) is a very sweet 7-year old Aussie, who I got from a breeder outside of Houston, TX. She is AKC certified, and is very smart and well-behaved. She had an episode of cluster seizures in 09/2024, for which I give her twice daily pills (phenobarbital). She hasn't had any seizures since that first night, and I've started decreasing her dosing with her Vet's recommendation. I am looking to re-home due to family reasons. I recently got married, started a new busy job, and moved into a new house. Unfortunately all of these things have put a lot of stress on my ability to provide the care she needs. I am hoping someone else can give her the time, attention, and love she deserves. She is great with all people, pets, and kids.
