Story
Who doesn’t love Taco Tuesday?! We all love our Taco Tuesday, he’s such a social boy. Seriously Taco does amazing with everyone he meets. Check out his video showing him with kids, cats, and in the car. https://youtu.be/rF-oZkGqIMQ?si=k5WhL2nvCl3xmRAj Taco is a leaner- he leans in for love and pets. He will be your lap dog cuddle bug too if you let him. Or roll for a belly rub. Taco is young but he’s smart. He has leash skills and knows sit. He loves treats and is always eager to learn more when a treat is involved. Taco is great with dogs too. He loves to make new friends. He can play with the gentle & dainty or the rough & rowdy. He takes play cues well. You can see he does well in groups and would love to have doggie playgroup time. Taco doesn’t mind getting wet, he’ll play in the kiddie pools at playgroups. Taco is a happy guy, especially if there’s toys involved. Watch how how much he loves balls. He’s willing to fish them out of the pool! You can see this in his main video. https://youtu.be/urz86bBOt_M?si=3GFBquwhdKOCtXRZ Taco is a family dog, he’s ready to show his family lots of love and playful fun. He’s such a social butterfly he will be great on family outings. And he’s got a good balance of energy he can go for a hike or chill out to watch a movie with his family. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
This is Willow the walking pillow! Willow is a sweet mini australian shepherd who's been with our family for 4 years. She's loyal, affectionate, and SO FLUFFY! Spayed, vaccinated, ~7 years old. Located in American Fork. Please note that Willow has anxiety/resource guarding issues and we'd prefer to send her to a home without other dogs or small children. She also has digestive issues that our vet has been unable to pin down. She is a really sweet girl and wants to please her family; she just has specific needs that our house doesn't fulfill anymore

Story
Meet Willow: A Loving Companion in Search of a Stress-Free Home Willow is an intelligent and loyal canine companion, seeking a patient and loving forever home where she can thrive. We first welcomed Willow into our family from a KSL add. We were given minimal information by her previous owners just that they didn’t have the space to care for her anymore. Willow will be 8 in December and has grown into fiercely protective companion to those she loves and has been the source of a lot of joy in our home. However, it pains us to acknowledge that her presence in our home has since become a source of stress for our family and our other dog. We have family and new friends over a lot and with Willow’s inclination towards guarding and occasional aggression towards strangers, coupled with conflicts with our other dog, it has led us to the difficult decision of finding her a new home where she can be the center of attention without the pressure of navigating unfamiliar faces or other pets.
